Coordinates and develops responses to Commission and industry data requests. - Monitors regulated earnings for ILEC companies to maximize earnings retention. Identifies earnings shortfalls and participates in the preparation of the analysis to determine the most beneficial approach to improve earnings. - Assists Manager, Associate Manager, and state government affairs managers in monitoring and participating in state regulatory and industry issues as they arise and analyzing the financial impact on the telephone companies to ensure timely identification and responses. - Special projects including reduced regulation analysis, operating budget process and others as necessary. - Review CABS switched access billing to ensure accuracy and compliance with access tariff applications of billable rate elements and also analyze minute of use trends to identify potential under/over billing. - Interfaces with GRA – Rates & Tariffs to ensure compliance and smooth coordination of pricing with regulatory earnings objectives. Qualifications Required Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in accounting or finance or 4+ years of professional work experience. - 3+ years combined regulatory and telecommunications or related industry experience. The hiring range for this position is $100,712 - $127,407 USD. At G.E.H.A, the current maximum salary for this role is $141,968 USD. While initial compensation may vary based on experience and qualifications, there is a path to work toward this top rate through performance and continued growth within the organization.
