This position is also responsible for conducting outreach to consumers, members, and prospective members about available benefits, ensuring they understand their coverage and how to navigate their policies. SKILLS Duties and Responsibilities - Drives membership growth by providing consultation and navigation on G.E.H.A medical and dental plans to newly hired or newly eligible postal and federal employees and retirees. - Educates and supports prospects and members virtually, in person, and via phone, using channels such as video conferencing, phone, chat, email, and onsite engagement. - Conducts virtual and in-person presentations, new employee orientations, conferences, and outreach events throughout the year to groups of federal employees on G.E.H.A medical and dental plans, including new hire and retiree (Medicare-related) benefits. - Demonstrates flexibility to travel to attend or host in-person events, including community events, workshops, agency meetings, and conferences as needed to support outreach and enrollment efforts. - Fields inbound calls from ABOs regarding requests for materials and/or event support. - Executes outbound calling to pursue and engage qualified leads, prospective members, and ABOs, including Open Season support. - Provides proactive outreach and education to members and prospects regarding available benefits, ensuring understanding of coverage and navigation of policies. - Ability to create and present presentations to various size audiences. - Captures and documents all consultation and outreach activities in required systems in compliance with training standards, quality metrics, and conflict of interest policies. - Upholds G.E.H.A core values and participates in other membership growth, retention, and outreach-related duties as assigned.
