The Carahsoft Public Sector Senior Partner Manager is responsible for strategically engaging, developing, and managing Atlassian's relationship with Carahsoft to grow Atlassian’s market share across the US Public Sector. This role requires an exceptional individual with deep experience in the ecosystem business, the public sector market, and managing the Carahsoft partnership. More about you: You are a highly motivated, analytically driven business person with a critical focus on the Carahsoft relationship. You bring deep knowledge of the government market (federal, state, and local) and specifically possess a deep understanding of Carahsoft as the government aggregator. You drive ecosystem initiatives and understand partner culture and business needs to build successful partnerships. Responsibilities In this role you'll get to: - Develop and execute partner strategy and engagement plans, specifically leading the strategic engagement of Carahsoft to benefit the Public Sector Go-To-Market (GTM). - Drive sourcing of pipeline and grow license sales through the Carahsoft partnership to facilitate net new Annual Contract Value (ACV) growth. - Lead the innovation of the GTM model to maximize the effectiveness of the 30-person Carahsoft/Atlassian team. - Ensure partner engagement on product campaigns and marketing activities. - Collaborate with internal teams including sales, enablement, and programs for overall partner success. - Team with internal Atlassian Sales Teams and the Carahsoft/Atlassian team for coverage of enterprise customers. Qualifications On your first day, we’ll expect you to have: - 5+ years of experience working directly with Carahsoft - 5+ years of Partner Management experience - 5+ years of experience in the Public Sector domain (federal, state, and local government) - Strong knowledge of government contracting and the government aggregator ecosystem - Proven ability to establish and maintain executive-level relationships - Ability to profile, find, and sign government partnerships - Strategic mindset with the ability to operate at an executive level while also executing hands-on Preferred Experience: - Atlassian software knowledge - Distribution experience Compensation At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are: Zone A: USD 110700 - USD 144525 Zone B: USD 99900 - USD 130425 Zone C: USD 91800 - USD 119850 This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity. You will leverage Payscale for market benchmarking while driving cross-functional alignment with People & Culture, Finance, and business leaders to deliver competitive, compliant, and cost-effective total rewards programs across all regions. YOU WILL: Workday Systems & Compensation Administration - Lead Workday HCM administration for compensation and benefits modules, overseeing configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of business processes, calculated fields, and advanced compensation plans. - Configure, test, and administer merit, promotion, bonus, and advanced compensation cycles within Workday, partnering with People Systems and Analytics to ensure accuracy and timely execution. - Maintain and optimize job profiles, compensation grades, grade profiles, and eligibility rules within Workday to support global compensation structures. - Leverage Payscale to conduct market benchmarking, salary surveys, and competitive analysis; integrate data insights into Workday compensation structures and pay ranges. - Build and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, and calculated fields to support compensation analytics, pay equity reviews, and executive-level reporting. - Lead and direct Workday system enhancements, including new module rollouts, integrations, and semi-annual release testing related to compensation and benefits functionality. The salary for this position is anticipated to range between 90k to 115k annually. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, skills, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include, but are not limited to, a candidate’s skills, experience and geographic location, the expected quality and quantity of work, and any client specific specifications. Most candidates will start at the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive experience and skills and who live in geographic markets commanding a higher starting pay. An employee’s pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
