While acting small by investing in you, your growth, your team, and giving you the autonomy to solve our clients' problems, no matter where you are in the world. The Role: This is not a traditional program management role. You will sit at the center of one of the fastest-scaling and least-defined media ecosystems in the world—helping shape how global advertising operates in an AI-first environment. As Director, Delivery (Media), you will own the orchestration of complex, multi-market media workstreams supporting $1B+ in annualized global media investment for OpenAI. You’ll operate across paid, owned, and emerging AI-native channels—building the systems, workflows, and cross-functional alignment required to deliver high-performing media at speed and scale. What You'll Do: - Lead end-to-end program management across complex, multi-channel media initiatives spanning global markets - Orchestrate execution across paid, owned, and emerging AI-native media surfaces - Ensure seamless coordination across concurrent campaigns, launches, and test programs - Translate business and marketing objectives into scalable media execution frameworks tied to measurable outcomes - Partner with Performance Marketing, Media, and Analytics teams to optimize budget allocation, channel mix, and performance in near real-time - Enable closed-loop learning systems connecting creative, media, and performance data - Architect and evolve media delivery workflows, intake models, and execution systems built for speed, iteration, and scale - Identify and eliminate bottlenecks across briefing, trafficking, approvals, and reporting - Balance global standardization with local market flexibility - Act as the central point of coordination across Media, Creative, and Data/Engineering - Align internal and client stakeholders across priorities, timelines, and deliverables - Drive decision-making in environments with competing inputs, incomplete data, and aggressive timelines - Operationalize test-and-learn agendas across markets, channels, and creative variables - Define success metrics and ensure insights are rapidly fed back into planning and execution cycles - Ensure consistent, high-quality execution across high-volume and high-visibility campaigns - Directly manage project management team members, providing ongoing mentorship, career development, and performance guidance. - Ability to coach team members on best practices and act as a partner in solving client challenges. What You'll Bring: - 10+ years of Project Management experience in technology and media - 5+ years of program management experience. - Strong understanding of global media ecosystems (paid social, search, programmatic, emerging platforms) - Experience working in high-growth, high-ambiguity environments where systems are still being built - Deep familiarity with media performance metrics (CPA, ROAS, CAC, etc.) and optimization strategies - Systems thinker who can zoom out to design and zoom in to execute - Comfortable operating in ambiguity, speed, and constant change - Biased toward action, iteration, and continuous improvement - 7+ years Experience managing an internal team and direct reports - Experience with implementations of a variety of platforms. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree of education relevant to the industry. - Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate will not be hesitant to have conversations with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the success of the project or program. - Excellent problem solving, organization, time management, and risk management skills. - Experience in management and merging project artifacts into a program scale set of artifacts used to orchestrate the larger set of initiatives and optimize delivery and minimize negative risk. - The ability to be self-directed and work in a dynamic environment with resources of various skills and experience levels to ensure successful delivery. - Competency in tools such as Asana, smartsheets, Jira, Confluence and G-Suite. - Excellent scheduling and planning skills with a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously while also actively managing project timelines - Project financial management of budget - Excellent client communication experience - Experience working in an agile framework and hybrid scrumfall environment. - Excellent client communication experience WE SUPPORT YOU BEING YOU: DEPT® is an equal opportunity employer (EOE).
