Director, Analytics

• Support analytics strategy and insight development across communications and advertising engagements • Work closely with account teams, media partners, senior leadership, clients, and vendors to design measurement frameworks • Synthesize performance across activities, translating data into clear, actionable insights that inform decision-making • Have a hands-on role in reporting, optimization, and developing analytics recommendations for a portfolio of clients • Act as the primary point of leadership for junior team members assigned to your projects • Ensure strong execution and consistency across project deliverables • Demonstrate deep expertise in communications/PR/advertising analytics and measurement • Support the development of measurement frameworks in tandem with internal and external stakeholders • Facilitate the creation of integrated performance reporting that synthesizes results across channels and tactics • Provide day-to-day guidance to internal teams and clients of varying seniority, translating complex analytics into compelling narratives • Oversee Analytics team members’ project delivery, prioritization, and quality • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure analytics is embedded throughout planning, activation, and reporting • Develop strategies, budgets, and tactical recommendations for paid digital media campaigns • Clearly articulate research and analytics needs to team members and partners • Make real-time recommendations for optimizations to ensure campaigns meet KPIs • Participate in presentations, workshops, and strategic discussions with internal and external stakeholders

Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Data Management, Statistics, Mathematics, or related major
  • At least 5-6 years of agency and/or marketing experience in communication and advertising is a must, healthcare experience is a plus
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and identify opportunities for growth
  • Strong working knowledge of digital media advertising, including social media, search, display, video, and other paid media tactics
  • Creative thinker who is willing to think outside of the box and consistently look for opportunities to improve current capabilities and processes
  • Advanced knowledge of analytics tools including Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, or other analytics/data visualization tools
  • Working knowledge of social media advertising platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Reddit, and TikTok, including targeting capabilities with the ability to analyze and interpret performance across channels
  • Experience with advertising outside of the US is preferred
  • Experience with influencer marketing is a plus
  • Data science, statistical analysis, research, or programming experience is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience managing a team and/or workflow.
