Position Overview: The Service Technician supports customer operations by ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient performance of chemical feed systems and related equipment. This role is hands‑on and customer‑facing, requiring strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. The technician works closely with engineering and sales teams to execute service plans, troubleshoot issues, and maintain strong customer relationships. Key Qualifications: - High School Diploma or GED - Ability to work safely in industrial environments, including exposure to heat, cold, and noise - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs - Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude - Ability to interpret data and adjust system settings to maintain optimal performance - Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities - Self‑motivated with a strong work ethic - High level of safety awareness and adherence to safety procedures - Reliable, positive, and team‑oriented Major Responsibilities: - Install, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot chemical feed and monitoring equipment - Manage onsite product inventory and safely transfer chemical products as needed - Perform routine testing and monitoring of treatment programs - Identify issues or opportunities and communicate them to the sales or engineering team - Provide minor onsite customer support and relay customer concerns to internal teams - Adjust chemical feed rates to ensure optimal system performance - Maintain knowledge of spare parts and order replacements when needed - Maintain a clean and organized equipment area and follow customer housekeeping standards - Complete and maintain all required safety training for both Solenis and customer sites We understand that candidates will not meet every single desired qualification. This position will support our Field Clinical Team focusing on Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion (LAAO). We are seeking an experienced Senior Field Clinical Specialist (FCS). Primary responsibilities will include outstanding management of Pre and Post market Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion (LAAO) clinical trial execution in an assigned territory. In this role, the FCS supports internal and external customers and cross-functional teams. This FCS position works closely with Global Clinical Affairs (GCA) including the Medical Director and Program Management, Global Clinical Organization (GCO) field personnel, and Abbott’s Commercial LAAO team. This position has significant interaction with Study Investigators, Research Coordinators, Physician Assistants, and Nurses. This position is required to execute their job responsibilities within established corporate policies and standard operating procedures.
