Senior Product Owner

CSG

• Liaise with key stakeholder (Strategic Architecture community) to understand the product roadmap and strategic vision • Collaborating with Product Management to align Encompass deployment, operational capability, and roadmap delivery • Liaise with System and Strategic architects to understand technical direction including ‘architectural runway’ • Define and maintain an effective feature backlog aligned with the roadmap and architecture • Define feature scope including acceptance criteria for all features • Communicate business context for epics and features to the development teams • Have a prioritized backlog ready for each Program Increment planning • Act as a proxy for the customer during development activities to provide feedback on fitness and usability • Act as a proxy for the end user persona's to ensure all documentation are written from their point of view • Accept features that are done according to an agreed definition of ‘done’ • Promote usage of AI for help improve both production improvement and work practices • Communicate scope to stakeholders throughout delivery • Interact with various departments like Professional Services, Managed Services, Platform Engineering etc to gather end user feedback and funnelling them in our product roadmap.

Job Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in computer science or a related discipline
  • 10+ years of overall experience
  • Prior Architect/Product Owner experience is good to have
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of Agile and Scrum
  • Experience with scaled agile practices is favourable
  • Experience with ADO and DevOps
  • Strong hands-on development experience in the past
  • Demonstrating strong command on written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand technical design concepts, current implementation and future enhancements on a technical scale
  • Having fair understanding of cloud technologies, preferable AWS, but others are welcomed too
  • Having exposure to container, container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes will be preferred
  • Have experience with Encompass product deployment and a strong understanding of operational pain points and usability challenges
  • Having exposure to Operations and Deployment models in production environments.
