Role Description As a Forward Deployment Engineer at YLD, you'll embed with a banking client during a proof-of-value or implementation, turning their product requirements into working configuration on the client's platform. You'll sit between the client's regulated banking requirements and their live services, prove your work with captured evidence, and feed any platform friction back to the core engineering team. • Design, build, and maintain robust backend and infrastructure systems using Golang and Java with contributions across the broader engineering stack • Work closely with client teams in collaborative working sessions, explaining technical decisions and translating complex engineering concepts clearly • Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP using Kubernetes (EKS/GKE), Terraform, and Flux • Actively leverage AI-powered tools and workflows to accelerate development, improve code quality, and drive engineering best practices
