Business Development Manager, Cantonese Speaker

• Identify, qualify, and develop new business opportunities across the insurance space • Conduct thorough research on target clients to understand their business models, challenges, and opportunities • Engage with senior stakeholders across prospective organizations (including insurers, consulting firms, and system integrators) to build strong, long-term relationships • Lead discovery conversations to uncover client needs and position tailored solutions that demonstrate the value of the CoverGo platform • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and initial outreach to deal closure and handover for successful implementation • Utilize sales tools (e.g., CRM platforms, data intelligence tools, and social selling channels) to build and maintain a high-quality pipeline • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including regional leadership, to ensure alignment on strategy and execution • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and generate leads
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS or technology sales, preferably within insurance or insurtech
- Strong understanding of insurance processes and supporting technologies (e.g., SaaS platforms, IT systems)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, both written and spoken
- Fluency in Cantonese is required
- Fluency in Mandarin is a strong advantage
- Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and consistently meet or exceed targets
- Experience using CRM systems (such as Salesforce or HubSpot) and sales intelligence tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo)
- An existing network within the insurance industry—particularly in health insurance, managed care, or employee benefits—is a strong advantage
