About the Role We are seeking a confident and people-focused RBT Performance Evaluator to support one of our U.S.-based clients in the ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis) space. This role plays a key part in maintaining quality standards and fostering positive engagement with field staff. You will be responsible for coordinating and conducting structured performance evaluations for Registered Behaviour Technicians (RBTs) at 30, 60, and 90-day milestones. These evaluations are designed to be supportive, developmental conversations that strengthen performance, alignment, and communication between RBTs and their BCBA supervisors. In this role, you will review self-assessments completed by RBTs alongside feedback provided by their supervisors, identify any discrepancies, and facilitate professional, constructive discussions that reinforce strengths and highlight areas for growth. This is not a disciplinary function — it is a relationship-driven role focused on encouraging performance improvement, boosting morale, and ensuring consistent communication across the team. PLEASE NOTE: - Working Hours: Sunday - Thursday | 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST (17:00 PM – 02:00 AM South African time – subject to daylight savings). - Public Holidays: This role requires working on both South African and U.S. public holidays (compensation for SA public holidays in accordance with the BCEA). - Internet Requirements: A fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download) and wired Ethernet capability is mandatory. Applicants without a fixed fibre line cannot be considered. - Power Backup: Reliable backup required to manage load shedding or outages. Applicants without a power backup cannot be considered. - Work Environment: Fully remote. Job Responsibilities (not limited to): Performance Evaluation Coordination - Schedule and coordinate 30, 60, and 90-day performance review meetings with RBTs - Ensure all required evaluation forms (self-assessments and supervisor feedback) are completed prior to meetings - Maintain an organized calendar and ensure evaluations are conducted on time Evaluation Facilitation - Lead structured evaluation discussions in a professional and supportive manner - Review and compare RBT self-assessments with BCBA supervisor feedback - Identify and address any discrepancies in scoring or perception - Guide constructive conversations around performance, strengths, and improvement areas Employee Engagement & Communication - Create a positive and encouraging environment during evaluations - Ensure feedback is delivered in a clear, respectful, and constructive way - Build rapport with RBTs to support open and honest communication - Reinforce that evaluations are developmental and not punitive Documentation & Administration - Accurately document evaluation outcomes and key discussion points - Maintain organized digital records of all completed evaluations - Track completion rates and follow up on outstanding evaluations
Job Requirements
- Working Experience:
- Previous experience in coordination, or facilitation role preferred
- Experience within ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis) environments is advantageous but not required
- Experience conducting meetings, reviews, or performance discussions is beneficial
