• Manage a portfolio of school districts across onboarding, adoption, and renewal • Drive product adoption using data, lifecycle engagement, and structured success plans • Lead customer conversations, translating usage into clear recommendations • Identify risks early and execute playbooks to improve retention • Partner with Account Managers on expansion opportunities • Collaborate with Sales, Support, and Product teams to improve customer outcomes • Maintain accurate account data and forecasting in Salesforce and Vitally

Job Requirements

  • Owned retention and renewal outcomes for mid-market K–12 school districts within SaaS or software-based EdTech environments, with expertise typically developed over 3+ years of success in a similar Customer Success role
  • Managed a portfolio of accounts, prioritizing based on renewal timing and customer health
  • Delivered onboarding or adoption programs for educators, administrators, or IT stakeholders
  • Used product usage data or telemetry to guide customer engagement and decision-making
  • Partnered cross-functionally with Sales, Support, and Product teams
  • Worked within CRM or customer success platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Gainsight, Vitally)

This function is accountable for the enrollment and persistence of students through their education programs Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Ownership of student-first focused culture. - Motivating and leading a team of Success Coaches to ensure attainment of WFE objectives and to effectively implement continuous improvement. - Recruit, interview and make hiring decision for new team members. - Provide coaching and training to team of Success coaches through 1-1’s, call call reviews, performance evaluations, and team meetings. - Collaboration with education providers staff to ensure strong curriculum knowledge of institution and resources available to students. - Direct management, hiring and development of team members. - Ensure the team is equipped with processes, tools and techniques to provide exceptional service to the students. - Partnering with appropriate leadership regarding weekly reports on student success activities, projections and performance. - Provide change management leadership Job Skills: - Understanding of student success, advising and coaching, solution/relationship selling, uncovering buying decisions and understanding customer needs. - Capable of working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment (grit, tenacity, and an ability to get things done) - Proven track record of success meeting targets, business objectives, and adding to the financial growth of the company. - Thorough understanding of applying appropriate metrics, measurements, and analytics in a student success environment. - Excellent communication skills; professional demeanor and style. - Clear leadership, coaching and motivational abilities; experience hiring, developing, rewarding and retaining a team. - Clear ability to multi-task and learn and leverage a variety of software applications.
