Title: Director, Patient Access Programs and Patient Support Programs Location: Morrisville North Carolina United States of America Full time Remote ** This position can be remote based, East Coast and Central preferred ** The Director will lead the strategic design, implementation, and optimization of manufacturer-sponsored patient support programs, hub services, and patient access programs embedded within the Medical Communications business unit of the PPD clinical research group of Thermo Fisher Scientific. This leader will oversee comprehensive patient service models across the full patient journey from benefits investigation and prior authorization through therapy initiation, adherence, persistence, and ongoing engagement. Programs may include copay assistance, patient assistance programs (PAP), bridge/free drug programs, nurse educator models, case management, and digital engagement solutions. The Director will advance the organization’s capabilities in patient support programs (PSP), patient access programs (PAP), and hub services to support patient access to medicine, while ensuring adherence to all regulatory and legal requirements, including HIPAA and other healthcare compliance standards. What You’ll Do: - Develop and maintain strategic and Go-to-market plans for the Patient Services service line - Leads the division and cultivates a supportive, motivating and collaborative work environment and also builds an effective and productive team focused on overall corporate objectives. - Ensures projects are properly resourced, managed, and executed and develops verifiable project goals for Associate Directors. - Oversees and/or coordinates new project implementation. Works closely with client contact(s) during project implementation and develops working rapport. - Maintains a working client relationship with open lines of communication for the life of the project. - Works closely with Business Development in the areas of proposals/contracts, client presentations, and maintains client relationships. - Oversees salary administration, performance management, conflict resolution, recruiting, and mentoring for Associate Directors and other direct reports. - Ensures quality objectives are met and oversees audit preparedness, appropriate response to internal and external audits, addressing and correcting of audit findings; responding to client feedback; and development of and compliance with SOP's. - Manages overall budget activity for divisional area(s) to ensure profitability: reviews billable hour reports for divisional area(s); tracks projects' success in achieving financial targets; determines the resource needs and ensures correct revenue forecast. - Drives a culture of immediate action and proactive escalation Education and Experience: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent, required. MBA, preferred. - 10+ years of progressive experience in Patient Support Programs (PSPs), hub services, patient access operations, or adherence strategy within pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare services organizations. - Direct experience overseeing nurse educator models, case management services, or patient navigation programs preferred. - 5+ years of management responsibility In some cases, an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role. Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: - Demonstrated ability to influence and lead cross functionally in a highly matrixed organization, including senior leadership - Expertise in both buy-and-bill and specialty pharmacy distribution models. - Strong understanding of therapy initiation, adherence, persistence, and patient engagement strategies. - Experience with digital and omnichannel patient engagement platforms (CRM, SMS, portals). - In depth knowledge of U.S. reimbursement landscape (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial payers; buy-and-bill and specialty pharmacy). - Strong familiarity with copay assistance, PAP, bridge/free drug programs, and financial support models (required); direct experience building new PAP and PSP programs (preferred) - Understanding of pharmacovigilance integration and compliant patient education practices. - Proven ability to interpret patient data and translate insights into program enhancements. - Strong understanding of healthcare compliance frameworks (HIPAA, OIG, Anti-Kickback). - Demonstrated experience working directly with or for pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturers supporting marketed products with PSPs and PAPs - Proven ability to influence cross-functionally in highly matrixed environments. - Financial acumen in budgeting, forecasting, and profitability management. - Experience leveraging CRM platforms and performance analytics. - Strong executive communication and presentation skills. - Demonstrated leadership in scaling programs and managing distributed teams. - Ability to coach and mentor staff - Ability to work in a team environment and/or independently as needed

Role Description The Initiative Director, Europe Clean Heat, will lead strategic grantmaking campaigns to achieve policy wins to drive clean heat adoption in Europe. This role will work with Climate Imperative’s Senior Initiative Director, Europe, and leadership team to align the strategy of the Europe Clean Heat initiative with the organization’s values and theory of change. The individual will also work with a diverse group of partners, from grassroots advocates to high-level policymakers and aligned philanthropies, to accelerate the adoption of clean heat policies quickly and equitably. Role Description Reporting to the Chief Development Officer (CDO), and in close partnership with the leadership of The Clinton Global Initiative (CGI), the Managing Director will provide both the strategic leadership and tactical management necessary to effectively execute a high-performing giving program for The Clinton Foundation, specifically focused on institutional revenue. This includes oversight of all CGI revenue and creating a robust pipeline of institutional support. The Managing Director will manage a portfolio of funders and prospects, as well as work in close partnership with the executive team. The Development team works to secure the philanthropic resources necessary to advance the Foundation’s mission through its programs and operations. The team collaborates with volunteers and colleagues from across the organization to present the Foundation’s case for support through gifts, grants, and sponsorships, maximizing engagement and giving from individual donors and institutional funders alike. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree required - CFRE or other specialized certification/designation is beneficial - At least 11 years of professional experience in the field in positions of increasing responsibility - At least 2 - 3 of those years must have been directing a team or multiple projects or a function - Demonstrated success in corporate/foundation giving/sponsorships, including significant experience with soliciting/closing large sponsorships/grants and related portfolio management required - Proficient with CRM systems, MSOffice, and Internet required - Knowledge of relevant online research tools (e.g., Foundation Directory Online) strongly preferred - Documented success in the preparation of six and seven-figure grant and sponsorship proposals Requirements - Recruit a portfolio of institutional funders/sponsors and prospects for CGI, with an emphasis on annual fundraising goals, as well as multi-year partnerships. - Collaborate on CGI funding proposals and required reports to funders as needed. - Work closely with the CGI team to identify and secure funding from high-value funders of CGI. - Develop new business strategies, conduct market analysis, and improve methods, strategies, and tactics for securing funding for CGI – with a focus on bringing in new donors into the CGI pipeline. - Coordinate donor engagement and solicitation strategies across the Development team. - Manage stewardship of CGI donors and potential donors (sponsors and paid attendees) to fulfill contracted sponsor benefits and build relationships for future asks. - Support systems and processes for grants, grant cycles/deadlines, and portfolio/pipeline management regarding institutional funding sources. - Oversee CGI donor recognition programs, listings, and coordinate appropriate and timely gift/grant acknowledgements and submission of high-quality stewardship, financial, and/or technical reports. - Contribute to the planning and execution of CGI events and convenings, especially as related to sponsor/funder relationship management in partnership with existing program and events teams. - Institute a process for proactively researching and engaging a new pipeline of potential prospects from identification through to solicitation. - Be the link between your team and other teams, departments, and overall Foundation goals, activities, and best practices.
