Staff Data Scientist

• Support the development and evolution of marketing intelligence products • Contribute to core systems that help businesses understand marketing effectiveness • Operate across the full lifecycle—from researching to productionizing models • Collaborate closely with the Head of Insights, Product, Engineering and Design • Build, improve, and maintain production-grade data science models • Enhance the accuracy and robustness of existing MMM pipelines • Design and implement optimization algorithms • Analyze customer measurement data to surface insights • Explain statistical concepts and troubleshoot measurement issues • Provide technical expertise and guidance to stakeholders

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a highly quantitative STEM field (Master’s preferred)
  • 6+ years of experience in data science or machine learning roles
  • Strong foundation in statistics, machine learning, and causal inference
  • Hands-on experience applying methods to real business problems (e.g., regression, time series analysis, A/B testing, Bayesian modeling)
  • Familiarity with optimization techniques (e.g., linear programming, mixed-integer programming, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Python and/or R, SQL
  • Experience with modern data platforms and statistical modeling libraries
  • Comfort making changes to live models and pipelines
  • Interest in marketing measurement, including MMM and incrementality
  • Thrives in a small, fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills, with comfort explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences
