Content Production Manager
MANCOMM
• Own the preparation and production of content from structured source through final print and digital output • Diagnose and resolve issues across structured content and Adobe InDesign, determining whether root causes originate from content structure or layout/rendering • Apply fixes directly using internal tools and InDesign, resolving most issues independently without requiring engineering support • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality across multiple publications and outputs • Maintain and enforce structured content standards across all work • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining control over timelines, versions, and deliverables • Collaborate with engineering to escalate and resolve complex structural issues when necessary, providing clear problem identification and context • Work within templated and structured environments where consistency and system-driven output are critical
Job Requirements
- Experience working with structured content systems (XML or similar), including the ability to read and understand structured content
- Comfort working in structured publishing environments where content originates from XML or database-driven systems
- Ability to diagnose whether issues stem from structured content or from layout/rendering in Adobe InDesign
- Strong hands-on experience in Adobe InDesign, including troubleshooting styles, templates, and formatting inconsistencies in production environments
- Comfort making direct updates to structured content using tools or interfaces, without requiring code
- High attention to detail, particularly in structured or templated content environments where small inconsistencies can impact large-scale output
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining organization and accuracy
