Therap Training Coordinator (Part-Time)

Community Options, Inc. is a national nonprofit organization providing residential and community-based services to individuals with disabilities in 12 states. We are currently seeking a Part-Time Therap Training Coordinator to support the effective implementation and ongoing training of the Therap Electronic Health Record (EHR) system across our organization. This role is ideal for a technology-savvy professional who enjoys training others, analyzing systems, and driving continuous improvement. - Schedule: 24 hours per week (flexible schedule) - Must be available to work mornings, afternoons, and evenings as needed - Location: Can be based out of any Community Options local office nationwide - Starting Pay: $25.00 per hour Key Responsibilities - Monitor the Therap system to ensure operational and security integrity - Respond to requests for information, assistance, and system support - Deliver engaging, effective training to build user competency - Conduct individual and group training sessions (in-person and remote) - Perform training needs analyses across the organization - Develop instructional materials including handbooks, multimedia aids, tutorials, and reference guides - Evaluate employee progress during training periods - Revise curriculum and training methods to improve effectiveness - Ensure consistent system implementation across all regions - Analyze system data and communicate trends to the Therap Administrator - Identify system or process improvement opportunities and collaborate on quality improvement plans - Conduct periodic visits to regional offices to support quality objectives - Cooperate with licensing and regulatory inspections, inquiries, or investigations Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus 1–2 years of related experience OR High school diploma with 7–10 years of related experience - 1+ years’ experience with Therap EHR strongly preferred - Experience with the Therap Electronic Record System preferred - Marketing or digital arts background a plus - Flexible schedule (morning, afternoon, evening availability required) - Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Strong time management and presentation skills - Technological proficiency with web-based communication and virtual training platforms Employment is contingent upon successful completion of criminal background checks, central registry checks, child abuse registry checks, and drug testing. The Role: The AthenaOne Specialist & Trainer will provide hands-on support to the Nadia Care team with all tasks and responsibilities related to athenaOne including but not limited to, troubleshooting, athenaOne builds, care team training and support, and direct coordination with athenaOne regarding any questions/concerns with the EHR. This role will report to the Director, Product Strategy and Innovation. This is a part-time position requiring approximately 15-20 hours per week. To ensure consistent support for our team, we envision a schedule spread across 4-5 days per week during regular business hours. Key Responsibilities - Maintain and optimize daily operations within the existing athenahealth EHR system. This includes but is not limited to creating user and provider accounts, creating templates, appointment types, billing and payments and encounter plans that increase care team efficiency - Will work closely with the care team to provide training, education, and instructions on athenaOne system features, functionality. - Provide support and training to all staff members that will be using athenaOne, shaping the training to apply to specific user roles within the organization - Resolve EHR-related issues and system discrepancies promptly, reaching out to athena and creating cases when necessary. - Be a resource for assistance with applications that are integrated with athenaOne. Position Summary and Responsibilities This position is with Arkansas Connections Academy working from the office in Bentonville, Arkansas or from your home office within the state. Certified Teachers will virtually manage instructional programs. Through use of the telephone, Internet and various curriculum tools they will consult regularly with learning coaches and students to ensure that each child successfully completes their instructional program. The Elementary Teacher will be responsible for the successful completion of the following tasks: - Complete all grading, create progress reports and conduct parent conferences in a timely manner; - Support the instructional program with asynchronous web conferencing sessions and synchronous instruction; - Review curriculum and devise alternate approaches to presenting lessons to increase student understanding (working directly with students and parents); - Communicate with parents, students and other teachers on a regular basis to develop and update Personal Learning Plans and schedules, score assessments, provide feedback on student work, suggest instructional approaches and strategies, monitor completion of assignments and coach special projects; - Work collaboratively with other teachers to ensure that all students are successfully progressing through the program, that parents have a central point of contact, and that tasks are distributed among the teachers; - Develop a general knowledge of the entire program’s K-12 curriculum and a very detailed knowledge of the courses for which responsible; - Support students and parents with alternate strategies and provide additional assistance with daily assignments and projects; - Communicate regularly with parents, students, and curriculum specialists through use of computer and telephone; - Keep student records and data up-to-date, including cumulative files, online student and family information, attendance accounting, and logging all student and parent contacts; - Consult with other teachers and staff learning specialists to develop alternate enrichment activities and modifications to students’ programs to increase student understanding; - Work with other teachers to coordinate social activities and relevant field trips for students; - Manage regional field trips and make efforts to integrate trips into the curriculum; - Devise and implement virtual methods of creating and maintaining a “school community”; - Participate in the organization and administration of the State Testing, as directed; - Participate in student recruiting sessions and other marketing efforts that require teacher representation; - Work with Advisory Teachers and School Counselors to ensure students and families are receiving appropriate communications, students are making adequate progress and established goals are being met; - Attend field trips and other community activities implemented for families; and - Other duties as assigned.
