Job DescriptionThis position will be dedicated to the USMC 911 Public Safety Lab located in Charleston, South Carolina and will be supporting the VESTA 911 Call Handling System. The role will be responsible for on-site testing and on-going management of the system. The On-site System Manager role will assist in the delivery of MSI contractual support agreements by coordinating with and assisting the various existing on-site support models in-person and remotely, and by enhancing MSI’s role in providing additional services and product/support satisfaction for the customer. The System Manager will provide advanced technical support of Public Safety software solutions in a fast-paced environment and will be an escalation point for complex trouble tickets. Must have strong knowledge of desktop support, networking (router and switch configuration & troubleshooting), telephony hardware, Telco knowledge, supporting software applications, and diagnosing complex system architectures. Must be a diligent researcher, troubleshooting and reproducing issues to resolution. Must be capable of installing server hardware/OS, troubleshooting system infrastructure, and application architecture. Must have flawless people skills and is comfortable working with base leadership in maintaining the installed system and resolving outstanding issues that arise. The System Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Be on-site at the USMC base at Charleston, SC during business hours as needed. - Support remotely and on-site various USMC 911 systems within the US. - Manage and lead day-to-day activities in meeting MSI’s contractual commitments. - Manage and lead our relationship with the local service partner - Manage and lead our relationship with the customer - Ensure that customer satisfaction goals are met both internally and with the customer. - Procure and coordinate any internal resources that maybe needed - Ensures compliance with response/restoration time commitment - Remotely diagnose system failure and facilitate call management as applicable - Manage Emergency Service efforts and escalation procedures Skills: - Strong written and oral communication skills. The work: - Develop Sourcing Strategies: Support the creation and execution of sourcing initiatives that align with client objectives and reduce procurement costs. - Procurement Process Optimization: Analyze current procurement processes, identify inefficiencies, and suggest improvements. - Supplier Management & Negotiation: Assist in supplier negotiations and building relationships, ensuring performance standards are met. - Data-Driven Insights: Use analytics to monitor procurement metrics, track supplier performance, and identify areas for cost reduction. - Client Collaboration: Work directly with clients to understand their needs and translate those needs into actionable sourcing strategies. - Technology Integration: Assist in the integration of digital tools to improve procurement workflows and drive automation. - Project Delivery: Support project teams to ensure that sourcing strategies are executed on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals Here’s what you need: - Minimum 3 years of experience in Sourcing, Procurement, or Supply Chain roles. - External consulting experience at a consulting firm or internal consulting experience in a role equivalent to the Consultant level within industry. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 10 years' work experience). If Associate’s Degree, must have equivalent minimum 6-year work experience. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Bonus points if: - You have experience with procurement software tools (e.g., SAP Ariba, Oracle Procurement Cloud). - You have Lean or Six Sigma certification. - You have the proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment - You excel in building and developing relationships, overseeing complex programs and demonstrating leadership - You’ve earned an MBA or equivalent graduate degree - You have a functional-level understanding of technology solutions - You can use the latest data analytics tools to spot opportunities for improvement - Prior experience in driving insights using visualization tools (i.e. Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx) and analytics tools (i.e. Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics) Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
