Title: Microsoft Fabric Developer Location: Coral Gables, FL, (Open to Remote) Duration:6+ Months Role Summary Lakeview is seeking a skilled Microsoft Fabric Developer to design, develop, and support modern analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric. This role will be instrumental in building Lakeview's unified data platform by integrating data from multiple sources, enabling scalable analytics, and delivering trusted insights to business stakeholders. The ideal candidate combines strong data engineering skills with hands‐on experience in Microsoft Fabric components such as OneLake, Lakehouses, Dataflows Gen2, Pipelines, and Power BI. This role partners closely with business, analytics, and IT teams to translate data requirements into high‐quality, governed data solutions. Key Responsibilities Data Engineering & Platform Development · Design, build, and maintain data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouses, Warehouses, and OneLake · Develop and manage data ingestion pipelines using Fabric Pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, and APIs · Transform, cleanse, and model data using Spark, SQL, and Fabric notebooks · Support both batch and near‐real‐time data processing patterns Analytics & Reporting Enablement · Design optimized data models for analytics and reporting consumption · Partner with BI teams to enable reporting and dashboards in Power BI · Ensure data accuracy, performance, and usability for enterprise reporting Governance, Quality & Security · Implement data quality checks, validation rules, and monitoring · Apply security, access controls, and governance standards across Fabric and Power BI · Support documentation, data lineage, and metadata management Collaboration & Continuous Improvement · Work closely with business stakeholders to understand analytical needs and use cases · Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, and security teams to align with enterprise architecture · Contribute to platform standards, best practices, and reusable patterns · Stay current with Microsoft Fabric roadmap features and enhancements Required Qualifications · 3+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics development · Hands‐on experience with Microsoft Fabric or strong experience with Azure Synapse / Azure Data Factory and rapid adoption of Fabric · Proficiency in SQL and data modeling concepts · Experience with Power BI (dataset design, performance optimization, semantics) · Familiarity with data warehousing, lakehouse architectures, and ETL/ELT patterns · Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills · Excellent communication and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications · Experience with Spark, Python, or Scala · Background working with ERP, HR, or operational data sources · Knowledge of Azure services (ADLS, Azure SQL, Azure DevOps) · Experience implementing data governance or enterprise analytics platforms · Microsoft certifications (Fabric, Power BI, or Azure Data) a plus
