We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior AFFERA™ Mapping and Therapy Specialist to join our team to further drive the growth of the business. Reporting the operating unit this role is critical in providing expert clinical and technical support and training to physicians and EP Lab Staff on the optimal use of the AFFERA™ Mapping and Ablation System. Join us for a career that changes lives! This field-based position, requiring extensive travel (> 80 and up to 100% ), covers whole Switzerland and, in specific support situations, Western Europe. Your home address will serve as your primary workplace (home office). Occasional attendance at the Medtronic office may be required for meetings. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: · Clinical and Technical Expertise Provide proficient clinical and technical assistance on the AFFERA™ Mapping and Ablation System and if necessary other products of the Cardiac Ablation Solutions business, including related equipment, troubleshooting, and advanced clinical workflow development. · Training and Education Deliver in-service training to hospital stakeholders, support training center development, and mentor new colleagues to ensure technology acceptance and skill development. · Customer Relationship Management Build and maintain best-in-class professional customer relationships, ensuring responsiveness and continuous optimization of customer experiences. · Case and Territory Planning Demonstrate excellent planning skills to prioritize and maximize case coverage while participating in territory reviews with the Sales Manager. · Cross-functional Collaboration Collaborate with field service engineers, the technical department, and marketing to ensure system efficiency, provide feedback, and contribute to new product development. · Regulatory and Scientific Compliance Stay updated on product information, IFUs, scientific literature, and compliance with all company trainings and documentation requirements. · Professional Representation Actively participate in congresses, symposia, and workshops regionally and internationally to represent Medtronic and share clinical best practices. Required Knowledge and Experience: - Bachelor’s degree in electrical or medical engineering, or related scientific disciplines. - A minimum of 3 years of clinical electrophysiology (EP) experience. - At least 2 years of proven success in independently supporting EP mapping procedures. - Fluency in French and English, German is a plus - Independent and self-reliant approach to work, coupled with a strong sense of responsibility. - Possession of a valid driver's license. - Capability to work effectively in EP labs and meet vendor credentialing requirements Physical Job Requirements The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.
