• The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving measurable sales performance across the region by developing, coaching, and holding Treatment Coordinators (TCs) and Practice Managers accountable to practice performance targets. • This role combines hands-on training with shared ownership of sales outcomes—ensuring that capability building translates directly into improved conversion, starts, and revenue performance. • The role is responsible for identifying performance gaps, deploying targeted coaching, and driving disciplined execution at the practice level. Success in this role is measured by performance improvement of the TCs in the region. • Monitor performance trends and identify risks early using data. • Drive corrective action plans at the practice and TC level. • Identify underperforming TCs and ensure improved performance. • Reduce performance variability across practices. • In partnership with practice managers, develop and execute onboarding plans for TCs with a structured approach. • Conduct hands-on coaching focused on same-day conversion, financial presentation & objection handling, add-on sales, follow-up cadence (short, mid, and long term), discounting & down payment strategy. • Partner with Regional and Practice Management to ensure execution discipline. • Identify breakdowns in the funnel (lead → TR → start) and fix them at the source. • Ensure consistent adoption of the OP sales playbook across all practices. • Act as the sales counterpart to the Regional Director/Manager.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a managerial or treatment coordinator role in an Orthodontic Practice or a similar sales role

The role is directly responsible for the promotion and sale of Tandem Diabetes products and services within an assigned territory in partnership with the Regional Sales Manager North. This role identifies potential customers, establishes and develops HCP and KOL relationships to facilitate the usage of Tandem Diabetes' products and clinical services. The Regional Sales Manager South uses expertise to provide support and continuing education in direct contact to patients, physicians and their staff on the technical use of insulin pump therapy and special considerations related to pump therapy in the marketplace. PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Leads a focused team of Clinical Diabetes Sales Specialists • Develops successful strategies to address all kinds of product-related concerns in the territory to ensure the adaptation of Tandem Diabetes products/services and to ensure the retention of existing relationships. • Efficiently uses available tools and resources to identify relevant decision makers and gather the information required to determine if prospecting criteria have been satisfied. • Serves as a subject matter expert supporting distributors as a resource on product launches, tender support, conferences, HCPs, and KOL meetings. • Develops successful strategies in collaboration with distributor partners to address clinical concerns in the region to ensure the adoption of Tandem Diabetes Care products/services, including interactions with HCPs as appropriate to support their understanding of Tandem products, labeling and pertinent clinical outcomes for authorized uses. • Assures customers are offered appropriate and consistent training on the use of Tandem Diabetes Care products within assigned region. • Effectively promotes Tandem’s unique market position, approach and value to the prospect (e.g., ability to integrate/coordinate with providers, impact on claims or other outcomes, clinical and technical differentiation from competitors). • Creates value for the health care professionals by differentiating Tandem Diabetes Care products and clinical services. • Educates prospects/customers regarding industry/healthcare trends, web-based solutions, Tandem products, services and outcomes, and/or other population health management issues. • Completes all product training, documentation, field safety notices and communication with HCPs in a thorough and timely manner per company policy. • Establishes and maintains excellent professional relationships with health care professionals to support the sale of Tandem Diabetes products /services. • Interacts with Senior International Clinical Manager for guidance on technical and training issues. • Assists with training and plays a leading role in onboarding new Clinical Diabetes Sales Specialists • Promotes sharing of relevant clinical information and market trends with regional team and during business reviews. • Collaborates with Customer Support Specialists of partners to identify and address post-sale product issues (e.g. FSN), and additional patient education training needs. • Supports strategic business planning (i.e. forecasting and developing short term & long term goals and objectives) for assigned Territory. • Provides products/services information directly via health fairs, conventions or in conjunction with promotions. • Attends and participates in all corporate training, meetings and assigned conventions, trade shows and symposia. • Keeps records updated in the customer relationship management software (CRM), for all business dealings within assigned territory. • Maintains all assigned company property, equipment, records, selling aids and samples in a manner consistent with company policies. • Establishes and maintains a territory call cycle that will minimize administrative time and maximize time and effort spent with potential and existing customers. • Prepares weekly and monthly reports as requested by Management within required deadlines. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Knowledge, skills & abilities: • Excellent knowledge and communication skills regarding the use of diabetes technology devices and therapies, carbohydrate counting instruction, medication management, emergency management and community resources. • Ability to relate effectively with patients, referral sources and health care professionals. • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate as an expert on diabetes, diabetes technology, Automated Insulin Delivery, and diabetes management software systems to patients and health care providers. • Demonstrated ability to coach customers on a one-on-one basis to answer questions and resolve product related issues. • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with customers to resolve issues and answer questions according to company protocols and requirements. • Skilled at contributing on a consistent basis to team initiatives in a thorough and timely manner. • Able to react to changing situations in a timely, calm, and confident manner. • Ability to work in a fast paced, ever changing market and see change as an opportunity to improve business performance and campaigning for it when necessary. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Internet with CRM software familiarity preferred. • Able to travel in the assigned territory at least 80% of the time and work from a remote home office; must maintain valid driver’s license. 2. Minimum certifications/educational level: • Education or university degree in the field of natural science, medicine or diabetes care • A plus is a licensed Diabetes nurse (DDG) or Dietitian (or equivalent) • Continuing education on the technical use of diabetes technology and special considerations related to pump therapy in the marketplace. 3.
