About You Basic Qualifications: - Advanced degree in a technical, scientific or medical field (MD, PhD, Pharm D). - Previous experience in vaccines or infectious diseases is an asset - Previous pharmaceutical industry experience preferred. - Clear understanding of medical practice, clinical decision making and healthcare systems related to patient care. - Ability to interpret key scientific data and translate this information to meet educational and research needs. - Demonstrated ability to address educational and research needs through delivery of cutting edge scientific/evidenced based data. - Understand the design and execution of research studies. - Exemplary communication and presentation skills. - Experience in working on multi-disciplinary teams and managing significant volume of projects. - Experience in the use of digital software and platforms. • The Neurology Care Area Lead is responsible for leading the overarching medical strategy and activities for GE HealthCare’s PDx portfolio in the Neurodegenerative arena across the U.S. • Ensure the safe, effective and appropriate use of products in clinical practice. • Shape the mid- to long-term direction of the neurology team within the U.S. • Set and execute the neurology medical strategy, inform portfolio and evidence priorities, guide resource and budget allocation. • Act as a key thought partner to local leadership teams and provide strategic direction, people leadership and oversight. • Coordinate and align internal and field Medical Affairs initiatives for the Neurology Care Area including HCP and KOL scientific exchange, evidence generation initiatives, and medical education. • Work cross-functionally with various teams to ensure medical excellence, robust safety and medical information governance, and compliant execution. • Monitor neurology team medical performance (e.g. KPIs, milestones, quality indicators) and drive corrective actions where needed.
