Email Growth Manager

• Develop and maintain a structured experimentation roadmap, continuously generating and prioritising hypotheses to improve email conversion rates and grow email marketing as a sign-up channel across all Ruby Labs brands. • Ideate, design, and launch A/B and multivariate tests on subject lines, preview text, email copy, CTAs, send times, sequences, and full funnel flows, with a relentless focus on improving conversion metrics. • Analyse test results with statistical rigour, extract clear insights, document learnings, and roll out winning experiments across all brands at scale. • Continuously monitor competitors' email strategies to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for Ruby Labs to capitalize on. • Conceptualise and propose new email sequences, lifecycle flows, and campaign structures focused on driving sign-ups and conversions, collaborating with the email team on implementation. • Track, report on, and own key growth KPIs including conversion rate, sign-up share from email, revenue per email, and lift from experiments. • Work closely with the Email Lead, Email Marketing Specialists, Marketing Director, and Data Analysts to align on growth priorities and ensure experiments are properly instrumented and measurable. • Identify and leverage opportunities within our email tooling (Customer.io, Mixpanel) to unlock new testing and segmentation capabilities that support growth goals.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in email marketing, growth marketing, or CRO, with a demonstrable track record of improving conversion metrics through experimentation.
- Solid experience with Customer.io or equivalent email automation platforms (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Brevo).
- Proficiency in Mixpanel or similar analytics tools for experiment tracking and conversion analysis.
- Strong understanding of A/B testing methodology, statistical significance, and experiment design.
- Growth mindset with an obsessive focus on conversion metrics. You think in funnels, lift percentages, and test-learn-iterate cycles.
- Highly analytical. You are comfortable pulling data, building reports, and making evidence-based decisions. You know the difference between a meaningful result and noise.
- A natural ideator who generates a high volume of creative, testable hypotheses and knows how to prioritise them by potential impact.
- Strong command of AI tools is a must. We expect this person to integrate AI into their daily workflow.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to write clear, compelling email copy for test variants is a strong advantage.
- Experience working with subscription-based or direct-to-consumer digital products is required.
