Job Description

Sales Engineer, Medium Voltage

Velatia

• Sell our range of products and system solutions with the aim of achieving successful sales and conducting price negotiations • Actively expand our customer base by acquiring new customers • Continuously develop and personally manage existing customers • Prepare, process and follow up on quotations, including order clarification and tracking, with support from the inside sales team • Deliver product presentations and training sessions at customer sites • Prepare meaningful analyses and reports as well as regular visit reports • Maintain customer data in the CRM system • Ongoing market monitoring and analysis • Act as a liaison between customers, planners, sales management and inside sales • Represent our company at trade fairs, conferences and congresses • Deputize for the regional manager in their absence

Job Requirements

  • Degree in electrical engineering or comparable qualification (e.g., technician or master electrician) with several years of relevant experience
  • Several years of successful sales experience with similarly technically complex products
  • Advanced knowledge of medium- and low-voltage switchgear as well as products and services for power distribution
  • Basic knowledge of substation/station solution engineering is desirable
  • Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken; English skills desired
  • Proficient with common software applications
