The Role As Manager, Legal and Compliance Services, you’ll ensure that Reliance Health operates safely and within the law across all our markets. You’ll own day-to-day legal and compliance operations, support internal teams with practical legal guidance, and ensure regulatory requirements are translated into clear, actionable processes. If you’re proactive, detail-oriented, and able to balance legal rigor with business needs, this role is for you. What You’ll Do - Serve as the first point of contact for internal teams seeking legal guidance - Review business proposals, product changes, and partnerships for legal risk - Translate legal and regulatory requirements into clear, practical guidance - Manage external counsel relationships, including briefing and cost control - Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including vendor and partnership agreements - Maintain a contract register tracking obligations, renewals, and timelines - Ensure contracts are properly executed, stored, and understood by internal teams - Manage regulatory filings, license applications, and correspondence with authorities - Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on the business - Maintain a compliance calendar to track all regulatory deadlines - Convert regulatory requirements into internal policies and operational processes - Support internal investigations and incident reviews involving legal or compliance risks - Conduct structured risk assessments for new markets, products, or process changes - Document findings, recommendations, and track issue resolution

Job Requirements

  • What You’ll Bring
  • LL.B + BL (Call to Bar required)
  • Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in corporate law, compliance, or a related role
  • Experience working in a regulated industry such as health insurance, financial services, or fintech
  • Strong experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts
  • Experience engaging with regulators, including filings, correspondence, and audits
  • Ability to interpret legislation and translate it into practical internal guidance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Sound understanding of corporate governance principles
  • Nice to Have
  • Experience with health insurance regulation (e.g., NHIA or similar frameworks)
  • Exposure to multi-jurisdiction legal or compliance work
  • Experience supporting board-level governance or reporting
  • Familiarity with digital health or health tech business models
