You will receive 18 remote workdays per quarter to use at your discretion, subject to manager approval. For example, you may choose to work in the office 4 days per week and take one remote day weekly (typically 13 weeks per quarter), leaving 5 additional remote days to be used as needed. The Credit Portfolio Associate plays a meaningful role in supporting HarbourVest’s Private Credit team with capital raising, portfolio management, and operational execution. This position provides extensive exposure to portfolio operations, data management, marketing and fundraising activities, fund modeling, and the overall investment process. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, including Credit deal teams, Credit Distribution, Quantitative Investment Science (QIS), Technology, Solutions, and Accounting, and coordinate with external fund administrators. Please note, this role does not involve direct evaluation or execution of credit investments. What you will do: - Perform portfolio and strategy-level analyses to support management decisions, client requests, and internal reporting - Ensure data integrity by monitoring position-level accuracy and completeness - Prepare and maintain the Private Credit track record for fundraising and client updates - Develop and monitor essential performance and portfolio metrics for HarbourVest’s Private Credit portfolio - Build and update fund cash flow models to support planning and forecasting - Maintain internal processes, workflows, and databases for performance and investment metrics - Support central initiatives, ad-hoc projects, and operational improvements within the Credit team - Collaborate with IT and data management teams to improve data reporting tools and automation processes - Oversee and coordinate multiple third-party administrator relationships with daily and monthly portfolio requirements - Assist in the evaluation and integration of new software or systems What you bring: - Strong collaboration skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing requests - Solid understanding of credit markets, terms, and common LP data requirements - Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with keen attention to detail - Effective written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision - Technical proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; exposure to SQL, Python, Power BI, and Snowflake preferred - Familiarity with Allvue Portfolio Management is a plus Education Preferred - Bachelor of Arts (B.A) degree or equivalent experience - Bachelor of Science (B.S) credential or equivalent experience - CFA and/or CAIA designation is a plus Experience - 3+ years of relevant experience in private markets, portfolio operations and analytics #LI-Hybrid Salary Range $79,000.00 - $111,000.00 This USD base salary range represents only one component of total compensation for this role and is provided in accordance with local requirements. This role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, which is determined based on individual and overall firm performance. In addition to salary and bonus, total compensation may include eligibility for long-term reward programs and a comprehensive total rewards package that may include retirement, health, insurance, paid time off, and wellness programs. Our total rewards offerings are influenced by several business factors, and eligibility for certain components will vary by position and geography.
