It supports Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. Contract personnel will provide key components to ensure mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24/7 IT & AV services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments - Leverages subject matter expertise in support of IT & AV Mission Systems engineering services and RDT&E activities. - Provides multi-disciplinary support for mission system services, including life cycle management, engineering, integration, and sustainment of required systems and assured connectivity across geographically separated locations. - Supports the planning, development, testing, and delivery of holistic IT & AV solutions for Mission Systems. - Supports training, planning, performs testing, and coordinates with owners of new systems to ensure DR requirements are considered and disaster recovery plans are made. - Enhances and maintains training & planning documentation and validates recovery capabilities through periodic testing, including targeted recovery tests that are conducted throughout the year. - Performs technical and service planning and analysis based on Mission Systems requirements (e.g., availability, capacity, performance, backup and IT continuity, and DR services). - Performs shift work as required to ensure 24X7 coverage and support.
