Digital Marketing Marketplace / Amazon Ad Strategist

The Marketplace Account Strategist will be responsible for creating and helping maintain clients’ accounts and catalogs among eCommerce retailers including (but not limited to) Amazon and Walmart. This role will involve account creation, catalog creation & item optimization, submitting tickets, and making pricing, shipping, & fulfillment recommendations based on client goals, and maximizing non-advertised sales. Amazon: The candidate should have experience working with both Seller and Vendor accounts; enrolling accounts in Brand Registry; creating and editing product catalogs (in addition to creating parent items via the platform or spreadsheet, and merging items); have a comprehensive knowledge of FBA and FBM; have experience working with Vine & Early Reviewer Programs; submitting tickets; and a good understanding of financials such as shipping, fees, costs, margins, etc.; experience with EDI a plus. Walmart: The candidate should have experience setting up new items via either item360 or spreadsheet; knowledge of both supplier and seller accounts. Successful candidates will be passionate about eCommerce, teaching others, and enjoy juggling multiple clients.

- Create decks to report on campaign performance
- Effectively present to clients via in-person, video, and/or call regarding strategy and optimizations
- Provide internal and external reporting with regards to the status of a project and how the client and company goals are being met
- Identify additional growth opportunities in other marketing channels
- Develop and implement (to the extent possible) strategies for maximizing non-advertised sales.
- Data Analysis and Optimization
- Extract insight from account data, identify relevant trends, and provide well-developed, proactive recommendations to enhance and exceed overall client goals and objectives
- Review product sales in accordance with client goals.
- Make recommendations regarding the best marketplace for clients to sell their brand.
- Exhibit clear understanding of overall client messaging
- Research Market Trends
- Stay up to date on and advise clients of the latest trends in Amazon, Walmart, and other eCommerce retailers such as Wayfair, Overstock, Target, etc. as well as other platforms relevant to the client’s vertical.
- Stay up to date with the client’s brick-and-mortar retail strategy.
