About Us Welcome to Reeco, where we are transforming the back-of-house tech for the hospitality industry. Think of it like this: while hotels are all about luxury and convenience, their operations are often stuck in the ‘90s. From emailing suppliers to doing inventory with pen and paper – it is outdated, inefficient, and expensive. That is where we come in! With the power of AI, we help streamline operations for top brands like Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt, and IHG, so they can focus on what really matters – delivering amazing guest experiences while keeping everything running like clockwork. Why Reeco At Reeco, we live by our core values, which we call Heartt: Humility, Excellence, Ambition, Respect, Transparency, and Trust. We believe that by putting both heartt and mind into everything we do, we can transform the hospitality industry. We are on a mission to provide simple, powerful solutions for our customers with the same dedication they put into serving their guests. Job Summary Reeco is looking for a strategic, builder-minded Director of Customer Marketing to join our team. Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, you will be the foundational hire for our customer marketing function. You will start as an individual contributor, rolling up your sleeves to build the engine from scratch, with the expectation of hiring and leading a team as we scale. You will own the strategy and execution for upselling to our current customers across all segments, carrying revenue and expansion ARR targets. Additionally, you will be the voice of our rapidly evolving product, working closely with the Product team to craft compelling narratives around frequent feature releases and updates. This is not a role for someone looking for an existing playbook. We need a visionary who can come in, leverage our tech stack, and build the path forward in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities The Director of Customer Marketing will take on a multifaceted role that blends strategic oversight with hands-on execution. You will drive upsell and expansion pipeline across our entire customer base, holding accountability for revenue targets tied to customer growth and adoption metrics. Partnering deeply with the Product team, you will understand frequent feature ships and determine the strategic narrative, deciding what to communicate, how to bundle updates for milestones, and the best channels to reach our users. You will own the full lifecycle of customer campaigns. While you will eventually have supporting resources from Creative Services and Revenue Ops, you must be comfortable strategizing, writing copy, and building campaigns directly in Customer.io today. Acting as the connective tissue between Marketing, Customer Success, Sales, RevOps, and Creative Services, you will ensure a cohesive customer journey and aligned revenue goals. Furthermore, you will champion the use of AI within our marketing efforts, utilizing it to personalize campaigns at scale, accelerate content production, and effectively market our own AI-driven product features. Ultimately, you will lay the groundwork for a world-class customer marketing team, transitioning from an individual contributor to a people manager as the company scales. - Revenue & Expansion: Upsell and expansion pipeline. Achieve revenue targets tied to customer growth and adoption metrics. - Product Storytelling: Feature releases and updates. Craft compelling narratives and determine the best communication channels. - Campaign Execution: Full lifecycle of customer campaigns. Strategize, write copy, and build campaigns directly in Customer.io - Cross-Functional Alignment: Marketing, CS, Sales, RevOps, Creative. Ensure a cohesive customer journey and aligned revenue goals. - AI Integration: Personalization and content production. Leverage AI tools for marketing efficiency and product marketing. - Team Building: Foundational customer marketing function. Transition from an IC to a people manager, building a world-class team. Requirements Requirements & Qualifications We are seeking a candidate with approximately seven or more years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, ideally stepping up from a Senior Manager role or currently operating as a Director. Experience in adjacent SaaS spaces is welcome, and a background in hospitality tech is considered a strong plus. Deep, hands-on experience with Customer.io, or an equivalent sophisticated marketing automation platform, is an absolute must-have, along with high proficiency in Notion. You must possess a builder mentality, thriving in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where the product is constantly evolving. You are excited by the challenge of creating the playbook rather than following one. While your primary focus is strategic, you are an excellent writer capable of drafting compelling in-app messages, email sequences, and release notes. You leverage data and tools to make informed decisions and naturally collaborate across departments to drive success. Additionally, you are AI-savvy, actively integrating AI tools into your daily workflows and understanding how to leverage them for marketing efficiency and personalization. - Experience: 7+ years in B2B SaaS marketing (Senior Manager or Director level). - Industry Background: Adjacent SaaS spaces welcome; hospitality tech is a strong plus. - Technical Proficiency: Deep, hands-on experience with Customer.io and Notion. - Mindset: Builder mentality, comfortable with ambiguity and rapid evolution. - Skills: Strategic thinker, excellent writer, data-driven, and highly collaborative. - AI Fluency: Actively integrates AI tools for efficiency and personalization. Perks & Benefits At Reeco, we believe in taking care of our team so they can focus on transforming the hospitality industry. We offer a comprehensive suite of benefits designed to support your health, financial well-being, and professional growth. - Competitive Salary and Benefits: A competitive salary package and comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. - Growth Opportunities The opportunity to grow with a fast-paced startup and take on increased responsibilities as we expand. - Innovative Environment: Work with a talented and passionate team dedicated to transforming the hospitality industry through technology. - Office & Flexibility: Dynamic office in Miami, FL, with high-end amenities (remote flexibility for this role). How to Apply Ready to join a company where your work has real impact? Send us your resume, and don’t forget to share why Heartt resonates with you! At Reeco, we believe in working smart, staying humble, and always bringing our best. Let’s change the future of hospitality together. Only Qualified leads will be answered.
