The Opportunity: We’re looking for a motivated and curious Data Engineering Intern to join our Data Integrations team for the summer. This internship offers hands-on experience in building scalable software solutions, working on real-world projects, and collaborating with experienced engineers in a fast-paced Agile environment. You’ll gain exposure to modern development practices and data integration techniques that power enterprise applications. This internship is 10 weeks starting June 1st going until August 2nd and will be fully remote. Key Responsibilities - Contribute to the development and enhancement of internal tools and applications using technologies such as Cloverleaf, Azure DevOps, and data integration frameworks. - Implement and optimize data integration workflows to ensure seamless connectivity between systems and applications. - Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software. - Assist in debugging, testing, and documenting code/routes. - Explore and apply modern engineering practices including CI/CD, cloud-native development, and data integration strategies. - Engage in team events, lunch & learns, and training activities throughout the program. Qualifications - Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - Expected graduation: May/June 2026, December 2026, or May/June 2027. - Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude. - Interest in working with Microsoft Azure, data integration technologies, and modern development frameworks. - Eager to learn and take feedback from a mentor who wants to help you grow and prepare you for the workforce. Preferred Skills - Familiarity with ETL models, data integration techniques, and Agile methodologies. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting. - Demonstrated leadership, innovation, and a passion for learning - This position pays 25/hr. Role Description This role exists to build the technical backbone that finally unifies our data. The Data Engineer will establish the structures, standards, and pipelines that turn scattered information into a trusted, governed, and scalable ecosystem. By creating proper schemas, mapping logic, and automated ETL processes, this role ensures that every team, from Operations to Finance to Analytics, can work with accurate, dependable data. We’re looking for a builder: someone technical, meticulous, and systems‑driven who can architect a long‑term foundation for how data flows, transforms, and supports our business decisions.
