• Manage a team of platform engineers, driving delivery, quality, and innovation on our agentic SDLC platform. • Partner with Engineering Leadership and Platform teams to scope, plan, and deliver the infrastructure that powers autonomous coding agents across MaintainX. • Lead, mentor, and grow your developers—helping them build new skills in agent frameworks, developer tooling, and platform engineering. • Set clear expectations, provide ongoing feedback, and support the team in achieving goals. • Champion software development excellence—ensuring strong CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments, observability, and agent orchestration practices. • Provide visibility into team impact, progress, and risks to senior leadership—including agent-produced PR rates, adoption metrics, and quality guardrails. • Collaborate with Recruiting and other Software Development Managers to hire, onboard, and scale a world-class platform engineering organization.
Job Requirements
- 4+ years of Software Development management experience with proven success leading platform, DevEx, or infrastructure teams.
- Strong technical foundation in developer tooling, CI/CD, containerization, and distributed systems.
- Demonstrated experience in technical design, problem-solving, and project management.
- Passion for hiring, coaching, and developing diverse platform engineering teams.
- Familiarity with LLM agent frameworks, MCP tooling, or agentic coding infrastructure is a strong differentiator.
- Excellent communication skills - you can distill complex ideas and collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bonus: you've shipped an AI coding agent or contributed to a DevEx/platform initiative that measurably improved engineering throughput.
