Service Engineer

• Serve as the primary technical advisor for Microsoft 365 migration and transformation engagements • Lead client-facing workshops, discovery sessions, and architectural design discussions • Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and efficient M365 solutions • Provide executive-level communication on strategy, risks, timelines, and outcomes • Architect and lead end-to-end tenant-to-tenant migration strategies, including planning, design, execution, and validation • Ensure data integrity, security, and performance throughout all migration phases • Design and implement Azure AD / Entra ID architectures, including identity consolidation and tenant coexistence strategies • Lead deployment and optimization of Microsoft Teams, Endpoint Management, and Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise • Guide engineering teams and ensure adherence to delivery standards and best practices
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of experience with Microsoft 365 architecture, engineering, or consulting
- Proven experience leading large-scale tenant-to-tenant migration projects, including M&A scenarios
- Deep expertise across: Exchange Online, SharePoint Online/OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Azure AD/Entra ID
- Strong understanding of identity, security, and compliance frameworks within M365
- Experience with migration tools (BitTitan, Quest, ShareGate, AvePoint, etc.)
- Advanced PowerShell scripting for automation and migration tasks
- Strong client-facing skills with the ability to communicate across technical and executive audiences
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., MS-102, MS-100/101, MS-700, SC-300) preferred

The Senior Field Service Engineer is responsible for customer satisfaction in all aspects of the job. Increased throughput, decreased downtime, regular Preventive Maintenance, regular upgrades as deemed by Beckman Coulter technical staff. This position reports to the Field Service Supervisor and is part of the South Central District working remotely to primarily cover a key account located in Austin, TX.
