Role Description We are seeking a Senior SAP Engineer to serve as a high-level technical authority (L3) within expansive and diverse SAP landscapes on a big and innovative end customer reality. This role focuses on the technical management, maintenance, and overall operational integrity of our systems, ensuring high performance across a wide variety of SAP products. As a senior expert, you will provide deep technical guidance and direct troubleshooting for complex environments, acting as the primary technical point of escalation. This position is designed for an innovation-driven professional who will supervise the technical excellence of our SAP BASIS teams and stay at the forefront of emerging technologies to continuously improve our large-scale, high-variety infrastructure. Job Responsibilities - Act as the lead technical expert in SAP BASIS, providing guidance and high-level L3 troubleshooting for a wide variety of systems and products. - Design and implement complex SAP BASIS projects, coordinating all related activities and technical workstreams. - Manage a diverse portfolio of SAP projects, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and rigorous quality control. - Provide technical mentorship and training to junior team members, serving as the primary point of escalation for critical landscape issues. - Build and maintain strong relationships with internal business area representatives to ensure high levels of trust and satisfaction. - Collaborate with leadership to identify new technological opportunities and optimize the profitability and efficiency of SAP operations. - Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system architecture, technical procedures, and operational annexes. - Drive innovation by staying up to date with the latest SAP technologies and recommending improvements to enhance the existing environment. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related technical field. - Proven technical background in SAP BASIS (including system management, installations, configurations, upgrades, S/4HANA conversion, migration, OS administration for SAP) with the ability to manage governance and support tasks. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills capable of handling a vast variety of systems. - Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to supervise teams and coordinate with multiple global stakeholders. - Ability to manage relationships with customer representatives, including those from different cultural backgrounds. - Seniority in the field, with a focus on delivering high-quality services rather than holding specific certifications or formal education levels. - Proficiency in English for professional communication and documentation. Preferred Skills - Experience with cloud environments and services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, especially as they relate to SAP RISE. - Professional certifications in SAP Basis or related technical architecture areas. - Knowledge of automation tools and scripting languages to drive efficiency in system administration tasks. - Familiarity with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks. Développeur (euse) SAP BTP/ABAP/CPI Skills: We are looking for several SAP developers with hands-on experience in ABAP development, application development on SAP BTP, as well as with SAP Integration Suite (CPI). The ideal candidate has already worked in these three areas and can support both custom development and integration scenarios in on-premise and cloud SAP environments. Responsibilities - Support ABAP development, including ABAP OO, enhancements (BADIs, user exits), ALV reports, forms, OData services, CDS views, and performance optimization. - Work with ABAP on SAP BTP, including RAP-based development. - Develop and enhance UI5/Fiori applications using views, controllers, models, routing, and data binding. - Build and maintain integration flows using SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI, API Management, Event Mesh). - Contribute to PI/PO to BTP Integration Suite migration activities. - Integrate SAP and non-SAP systems using SOAP, REST, HTTP, and other adapters. - Collaborate with functional and technical teams to transform requirements into concrete solutions and support testing and deployment phases. Requirements - Diverse experience in ABAP, BTP, and CPI (6 to 10+ years of combined SAP experience). - Knowledge of PI/PO concepts and BTP development tools (Business Application Studio, Web IDE). - Experience with RICEFs, IDocs, enhancements, and cloud/on-premise integration scenarios. - Functional knowledge of Retail, SD, or MM domains (asset, not mandatory). - Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills. - Ability to independently manage tasks spanning multiple SAP technical areas. - Bilingual in French and English, as you will collaborate with resources located outside the province of Quebec.
