Job DescriptionThe GSP manages the suppliers (EMS) flow of products by monitoring demand, monitor raw material supply to EMS, and optimizing inventory levels to meet their production needs, balancing costs, quality, and timely delivery through strong supplier relationships, data analysis, and collaboration with internal teams like Business Operations and DCs, utilizing ERP/MRP systems for efficiency and continuous improvement. Job Description The Biologics Commercial Supply Planning Senior coordinator will be responsible for executing key supply chain commercial and clinical activities for a late-stage biologic program. Vertex is rapidly expanding its portfolio and commercializing a pipeline of exciting new therapies. We are growing our capabilities to support the biologics commercial supply chain and manufacturing of these therapies. This role will be responsible for setting up and testing planning / execution systems and performing various supply planning and inventory management activities. The global supply chain planning activities also include testing and integrating processes and systems to deliver a best-in-class supply chain. This role will report to the Sr Director Biologics Commercial Supply Chain within the Supply Chain Management organization and the Biopharmaceutical Sciences and Manufacturing Operations (BSMO) division. The position is based at Vertex’s corporate headquarters in Boston, MA or could be remote. Key Duties and Responsibilities: - Identify and define master data elements needed to successfully set up Oracle OPM and Maestro Rapid Response execution and planning system. - Perform and test required master data setups at both Oracle OPM and Maestro Rapid Response to enable execution and planning activities. - Coordinate and execute monthly inventory reconciliation activities using CMO and Oracle OPM data.
