About the job… The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for selling Alfa Laval transactional products and services within the assigned area of responsibility and providing direct support to customers. This is a hybrid position located in Richmond, VA or Houston, TX. Responsibilities include: - Make high‑volume outbound calls to prospects daily using call lists/Installed Base, CRM data or lead-generation tools based on Target Customer/Industries. - Introduce the company's products or services, clearly communicating value and addressing initial questions or objections. - Qualify leads based on defined criteria to determine fit and readiness for the next step in the sales process. - Schedule appointments/calls for Field Sales Managers. - Be able to immediately close a deal or move on the sales process if the opportunity is presented. - Document all interactions in the CRM with accurate notes and follow‑up tasks. Use the CRM tool and other tools in a consistent and qualitative way, to support the sales process and take decisions. - Serve as a point of contact for a small portfolio of newly acquired or lower‑touch accounts. - Conduct periodic check‑ins to ensure satisfaction and identify upsell or cross‑sell opportunities. - Follow up on warm leads from marketing campaigns, email outreach or inbound inquiries. - Meet or exceed daily/weekly KPIs, including call volume, conversions and appointments set. - Build compelling Value Propositions scripts and collaborate with the sales and marketing team to refine them, improve lead quality and optimize outreach strategies. - Maintain a positive, persistent attitude when handling objections or rejection. - Analyze and understand market insights and the customers' buying behavior and keep team informed and updated - Travel up to 10%.
