We are currently searching for a Senior Yardi Support Specialist to work remotely. Position Summary The Senior Yardi Systems Specialist / Helpdesk Lead is responsible for leading the support and technical administration of the organization’s Yardi ecosystem while providing advanced troubleshooting and development expertise. This role combines helpdesk leadership with deep technical capability in Yardi Voyager 7S and Voyager 8 (Elevate), including custom report development, SQL scripting, and system configuration. The position serves as the escalation point for complex Yardi issues and works closely with property management, accounting, and IT teams to ensure system performance, data integrity, and user adoption. This role also emphasizes a collaborative leadership style with a compassionate desire to help others learn, grow, and succeed. The ideal candidate demonstrates a willingness to mentor team members, share knowledge, and support the professional development of helpdesk and systems support staff. Key Responsibilities – Helpdesk Leadership - Lead the Yardi helpdesk function and manage the ticket queue (ServiceNow, Zendesk, Jira, or similar platforms). - Serve as the escalation point for complex Yardi system issues across accounting, operations, and property management teams. - Monitor ticket trends, identify root causes, and implement long‑term solutions. - Develop and maintain internal knowledge base articles and documentation. - Mentor and guide junior analysts or helpdesk technicians. - Foster a supportive team culture focused on collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement. - Coordinate issue resolution with Yardi support and third‑party consultants. Yardi System Administration & Technical Support - Provide advanced support for Yardi Voyager 7S and Voyager 8 (Elevate). - Configure and maintain Yardi modules such as Voyager Core, PayScan, Job Cost, VendorCafe / ResidentCafe, and Investment Accounting. - Manage user roles, permissions, and security settings. - Support system upgrades, integrations, and module implementations. - Monitor system performance, troubleshoot errors, and ensure data integrity. Reporting & Technical Development - Develop and maintain custom Yardi reports using YSR and SQL. - Write SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts to extract and analyze system data. - Create automated reporting packages using Report Scheduler and other Yardi tools. - Support business intelligence and operational reporting initiatives. - Provide advanced reporting solutions for accounting, asset management, and operations teams. Data & System Integration - Support ETL processes, data imports/exports, and integrations with other enterprise systems. - Troubleshoot data integrity issues and resolve discrepancies in Yardi databases. - Assist with data migrations related to acquisitions, property onboarding, and system enhancements. Process Improvement & Training - Analyze business workflows and recommend improvements to system usage and configuration. - Provide training to end users on best practices and system functionality. - Create internal documentation, training materials, and operational procedures. - Actively mentor and develop junior team members with a patient, supportive, and compassionate approach. Required Qualifications - 7+ years of experience supporting Yardi Voyager systems. - Experience with Voyager 7S and Voyager 8 (Elevate). - Strong knowledge of Yardi database structure and table relationships. - Advanced experience with SQL scripting and YSR reporting. - Experience creating stored procedures and advanced reporting solutions. - Experience supporting multiple Yardi modules. - Experience managing support tickets and end‑user troubleshooting. - Ability to analyze system issues and perform root cause analysis. Preferred Qualifications - Experience leading or supervising helpdesk or application support teams. - Experience supporting real estate property management operations. - Familiarity with Power BI, API integrations, or ETL processes. - Experience supporting system implementations, acquisitions, or property onboarding. What You’ll Do As a Trades Specialist, you’ll be part of our Commercial Construction field sales team as a field based employee in your assigned territory of Nort Virginia/DC. You’ll get to: - Achieve top-line sales targets based on division and local market goals & objectives through selling DEWALT PTE, HTAS, STANLEY, LENOX, IRWIN, BOSTITCH, PORTERCABLE brands to our end-user customer base - Establish, develop, and maintain key relationships with end-user partners through product and services solutions as well as management of CORE and other SBD user contracts and programs for user responsibilities - Teach and mentor your local market team on the process of End User development: who to contact (trade associations, safety personnel, engineers, quality managers, general managers, line supervisors, chief mechanics, purchasing, etc.), how they execute the purchasing process (central and facility), and how to align their efforts with the local market teams, product managers, local distributors, and service centers - Partner with Channel Marketing to implement and coordinate marketing initiatives - Maintain and use SalesForce.com as a CRM and Planning tool. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
