We are currently searching for a Senior Yardi Support Specialist to work remotely. Position Summary The Senior Yardi Systems Specialist / Helpdesk Lead is responsible for leading the support and technical administration of the organization’s Yardi ecosystem while providing advanced troubleshooting and development expertise. This role combines helpdesk leadership with deep technical capability in Yardi Voyager 7S and Voyager 8 (Elevate), including custom report development, SQL scripting, and system configuration. The position serves as the escalation point for complex Yardi issues and works closely with property management, accounting, and IT teams to ensure system performance, data integrity, and user adoption. This role also emphasizes a collaborative leadership style with a compassionate desire to help others learn, grow, and succeed. The ideal candidate demonstrates a willingness to mentor team members, share knowledge, and support the professional development of helpdesk and systems support staff. Key Responsibilities – Helpdesk Leadership - Lead the Yardi helpdesk function and manage the ticket queue (ServiceNow, Zendesk, Jira, or similar platforms). - Serve as the escalation point for complex Yardi system issues across accounting, operations, and property management teams. - Monitor ticket trends, identify root causes, and implement long‑term solutions. - Develop and maintain internal knowledge base articles and documentation. - Mentor and guide junior analysts or helpdesk technicians. - Foster a supportive team culture focused on collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement. - Coordinate issue resolution with Yardi support and third‑party consultants. Yardi System Administration & Technical Support - Provide advanced support for Yardi Voyager 7S and Voyager 8 (Elevate). - Configure and maintain Yardi modules such as Voyager Core, PayScan, Job Cost, VendorCafe / ResidentCafe, and Investment Accounting. - Manage user roles, permissions, and security settings. - Support system upgrades, integrations, and module implementations. - Monitor system performance, troubleshoot errors, and ensure data integrity. Reporting & Technical Development - Develop and maintain custom Yardi reports using YSR and SQL. - Write SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts to extract and analyze system data. - Create automated reporting packages using Report Scheduler and other Yardi tools. - Support business intelligence and operational reporting initiatives. - Provide advanced reporting solutions for accounting, asset management, and operations teams. Data & System Integration - Support ETL processes, data imports/exports, and integrations with other enterprise systems. - Troubleshoot data integrity issues and resolve discrepancies in Yardi databases. - Assist with data migrations related to acquisitions, property onboarding, and system enhancements. Process Improvement & Training - Analyze business workflows and recommend improvements to system usage and configuration. - Provide training to end users on best practices and system functionality. - Create internal documentation, training materials, and operational procedures. - Actively mentor and develop junior team members with a patient, supportive, and compassionate approach. Required Qualifications - 7+ years of experience supporting Yardi Voyager systems. - Experience with Voyager 7S and Voyager 8 (Elevate). - Strong knowledge of Yardi database structure and table relationships. - Advanced experience with SQL scripting and YSR reporting. - Experience creating stored procedures and advanced reporting solutions. - Experience supporting multiple Yardi modules. - Experience managing support tickets and end‑user troubleshooting. - Ability to analyze system issues and perform root cause analysis. Preferred Qualifications - Experience leading or supervising helpdesk or application support teams. - Experience supporting real estate property management operations. - Familiarity with Power BI, API integrations, or ETL processes. - Experience supporting system implementations, acquisitions, or property onboarding. Role Description We are currently searching for a HUD Compliance Specialist to work remote. - Review certifications including move ins, annual recertifications and interims through the Compliance Review System. - Complete and Update Affirmative Fair Housing Marketing Plans (AFHMP). - Management and Occupancy Reviews – lead the preparation and response to MORs. - Monitor compliance with AFHMP. - Assist with property specific reporting requirements. - Track and forecast subsidy terminations and other late certifications. - Ensure Compliance with EIV requirements including reports and access issues. - Process HAP Renewals to include coordinating utility analysis and rental adjustments. - Create and submit all tenant and voucher data files to Tenant Rental Assistance Certification System (TRACS). - Identify, track and resolve errors associated with the HAP vouchers and tenant files. - Receipt HAP payments to tenant ledgers. - Administer Gross Rent Change process to include changes resident management software and preparing required notices to residents. - Process the approval, posting, and receipting of repayment agreements. - Assist with the tenant ledger research when discrepancies are related to the HAP voucher. - Coordinate processing of Special Claims when necessary. - Coordinate the submission of Service Coordinator Grant vouchers through LOCCS. - Create miscellaneous reports for management as needed. - Assist in the training of property staff and other compliance staff with HUD training. - Other duties, as assigned. Qualifications - High school or equivalency degree. - Minimum two (2) years’ experience in multifamily housing preferred. - Working knowledge of federal multi-family affordable housing programs, policies and rules is required. - Minimum three (3) years’ experience with HUD or LIHTC preferred. - Ability to understand, apply, communicate and enforce federal, state and local requirements in the implementation of the Section 8 Program. - Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience to meet the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. - Ability to review and analyze required reports. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Yardi, and Onesite. This position is a remote position. - Review all rental and initially LIHTC/HUD qualifying applications within 24 hours of receipt. - Document YARDI with application status-Spice #. - Perform necessary on-site file property audits/setting up new property files/training personnel/continuing education classes in various states and online, as needed. - Some travel for audits may be required. - Prepare a compliance audit report and submit to supervisor within 30-days of completing on-site audit. - Communicate with the Community Managers regarding any Compliance questions or concerns. - Provide telephone for on-site personnel training as needed. - Obtain all Tenant Income Certifications for Monthly/Quarterly/Annually Tax Credit Reporting. - Provide copies of the signed TICs and Race & Ethnicity forms to the reporting department weekly. - Follow up with sites every 10 days on outstanding TICs/50059s. - Follow up every 30 days on all open tickets. - Update the Recertification Listing as annuals are received. - On the 11th day of the month, update recertification listing with next month annuals. - Move all current re-certifications not completed by the 10th of the month to the late recertification listing. - Cut off for marking annuals of the listing is Thursday at 2 pm CST. - Pull YARDI scheduled AR report for posting to RCL. - Maintain and provide monthly fraud log. - Maintain Work Number usage report and provide monthly. - Review all annuals, interims, unit transfers, move-in/out, gross rent, terminations, etc. (all file 50059 and Tenant Income Certifications paperwork) 3-5 business days. - Document all files on Compliance Monthly Activity Report. - Submit all Activity Report monthly to Portfolio Manager and property personnel for follow up on necessary corrections. - Create files for all move-in paperwork (LIHTC Properties only). - Maintain 1st year resident files until Tax Credit Qualifying is complete. - Scan the 1st year resident files to the Reporting Director for entering onto a CD. Must be put together in file order and labeled prior to scanning. - Process any corrections required for PNC or other vendor. - Assist in tax credit qualifying resident during on-site visits of all new acquisitions. - Review and follow up on income limits-maintain binder in current and accurate manner. - As needed, pull and assist with EIV reports. - Properly label all Spice tickets upon receipt and through review phase. - Ensure effective dates, next AR dates, rent, PHA, etc. are all correct in YARDI. - Maintain training as required through online system.
