This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical credibility with the ability to translate complex content into clear, applied learning experiences for adult learners. The person in this role will work across subject matter experts, instructional partners, and delivery stakeholders to build and refine high-quality training materials that are practical, scalable, and aligned to workforce outcomes. This is a hands-on role with significant responsibility for content development, cross-functional collaboration, project ownership, and continuous improvement. WHAT YOU’LL DO: - Lead the development, revision, and maintenance of curriculum, assessments, labs, instructor resources, and learner-facing materials for critical infrastructure and advanced manufacturing pathways. - Translate technical concepts, procedures, and field practices into clear, job-relevant learning experiences for adult learners. - Maintain ongoing oversight of materials to ensure quality and accuracy of curriculum - Collaborate with Product Development, instructors, platform or technology partners, and other cross-functional stakeholders to support successful implementation - Utilize technology and media to develop dynamic and engaging curriculum content - Design learning activities that are clearly structured, engaging, and built to support learner understanding, application, and instructor usability. - Develop solutions (e.g., instructor-led, virtual, eLearning, blended, etc.) that provide relevant, challenging, and productive learning experiences. Finalize materials through reviews, pilot tests, etc. - Define, document, and maintain the scope of learning materials. Perform risk assessment and mitigation and communicate clearly inside and outside the team. - Research on new technical training offerings, upskill and take challenges to develop curriculum content and assessments - Complete special projects and requests as opportunities arise - Contribute to fine-tuning our content development process as we scale, and your work will ultimately deliver quality, reliable methods of measuring learners' progress nationwide. WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO US: Required Qualifications - 1-3 years of experience working in (or consulting with) critical infrastructure, data centers, and/or advanced manufacturing facilities. - Demonstrated experience developing successful training programs for one or more of the following role titles: Electromechanical Technicians, Instrument Technicians, PLC/Automation Control Technicians, Industrial Mechanics, Industrial Electricians, Critical Facility Engineers/Technicians, or similar roles. - Deep understanding of (and how to operate/maintain/troubleshoot) the common equipment found in highly automated facilities such as: pumps, motors, motor controllers, PDUs, MCCs, sensors/actuators, PLCs/DCS/SCADA, VFDs, UPS, Diesel Generators, ATS, pneumatics, hydraulics, CRAH, CRAC, BMS, and similar equipment. - Significant experience with safety requirements (LOTO/OSHA/NFPA) in environments requiring maintenance on high energy systems (electrical or mechanical). - Strong background working with SOPs/MOPs/EOPs (or similar) to maintain or restore equipment in critical environments. - Ability to troubleshoot complex electromechanical systems that experience faulted conditions and communicate that process to others. - Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides). - Experience working on concurrent priority projects while maintaining excellent attention to detail. - Self-starter with strong interpersonal, communication, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills. - Ability to take ownership over tasks and meet short and long-term deliverables - A passion for continuous improvement and keeping current on the latest trends in learning. - BA / BS in the relevant fields or equivalent experience and/or Industry certifications related to safety, facilities, industrial systems, or automation. Preferred Qualifications - Experience designing curriculum or instructional content for adult learners in workforce, technical training, higher education, or corporate learning environments. - Experience building labs, assessments, simulations, or scenario-based learning activities). - Quantitative and qualitative analytical skills and project management capabilities, including knowledge of data visualization tools (i.e., Power BI, Tableau, etc.). - Facilitation and coaching experience to various audiences. - Certifications in OSHA, NFPA. Full-Time Benefits Eligible employees also receive 80 Wellness Hours to use for Sick, Safe, or Personal reasons and accrue Vacation at a rate of 8 hours at the beginning of every month, supporting rest, recharge, and work-life balance. Vacation accruals increase with tenure. Part-time employees are afforded time off on a prorated basis and in accordance with local requirements.
