Position Title: Senior Solution Architect Position Location: Remote – OH Job Summary: As a Senior Enterprise Solutions Architect within our Advance Solutions Practice, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining hardware solutions that form the foundation of our clients' digital infrastructure environments. Leveraging your expertise in hardware architecture, system design, and hardware technologies, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of infrastructure components. Your contributions will enable our clients to leverage technology effectively to support their business operations and digital transformation initiatives. Essential Functions: - Collaborate with architects and project teams to design hardware solutions that meet client requirements for performance, capacity, scalability, and reliability. - Evaluate hardware technologies, platforms, and configurations to recommend optimal solutions based on client needs, industry best practices, and budget considerations. - Develop hardware architecture diagrams, specifications, and implementation plans to guide the deployment and configuration of infrastructure components. - Implement hardware solutions according to design specifications, configuring servers, storage arrays, network switches, and other infrastructure components to meet performance and reliability requirements. - Install, configure, and manage hardware management software, firmware, and drivers to ensure compatibility, stability, and optimal performance of hardware systems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware solutions with other infrastructure components, applications, and services. - Conduct testing and validation of hardware components and systems to ensure they meet functional requirements, performance benchmarks, and quality standards. - Perform hardware compatibility testing, interoperability testing, and certification testing to validate hardware configurations and configurations. - Document test plans, test results, and validation reports to support certification, compliance, and audit requirements. - Perform routine hardware maintenance tasks, including hardware upgrades, firmware updates, and component replacements, to ensure optimal performance and reliability of hardware systems. - Monitor hardware health, temperature, power consumption, and other telemetry data using monitoring tools and management consoles, proactively identifying and addressing issues. - Maintain accurate documentation of hardware configurations, procedures, and technical specifications to facilitate knowledge transfer and support continuity. Education and Experience: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. - Proven experience in hardware engineering roles, with hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining hardware solutions in enterprise environments. - Technical Skills: - Deep expertise with IBM Z platform (z/OS, z/VM, z/VSE) and ecosystems components. - Strong experience in mainframe infrastructure design: LPAR sizing, PR/SM configuration, processor provisioning and upgrade planning. - Expertise in disaster recovery (DR) architecture and operations, including GDPS design/implementation, syspplexed HA/DR topologies, failover orchestration, RPO/RTO design and DR testing. C - Architecture & Design: - Ability to produce infrastructure architecture diagrams, capacity and performance models, migration strategies, and target-state roadmaps for mainframe estates. - Skilled in defining non-functional requirements: scalability, availability, recoverability, security, compliance and cost optimization. Proficient in assessing data center co-location options and producing network, power, and cabling designs for deployments. - Soft Skills: Demonstrated customer-facing experience delivering architecture design presentations to technical and executive stakeholders Physical Requirements: - Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. - Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

• Become a Fieldwire product expert and learn best practices for configuring and utilizing the platform • Understand client needs and tech stack in order to seamlessly integrate Fieldwire into a company’s day-to-day workflows • Manage a portfolio of new prospective clients in the process of discovering and evaluating the Fieldwire platform (the sales team is responsible for generating the leads) • Build deep, trusting relationships at a fast pace with multiple companies with divers use cases • Conduct web-based and in-person trainings and demonstrations to educate clients on Fieldwire; create Fieldwire Project configuration and best practices guides for general and specialty contractor use cases • Assist the product team in identifying issues and communicating customer feedback for product improvements; provide relevant feedback in design reviews of new features in development • Troubleshoot, as necessary, to help communicate answers to product questions and resolve technical issues throughout the sales and trial process

The base pay range for this position is: $123,100 - $169,268 Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
