Key Account Manager

Ooma, Inc.

• Develop annual strategic account plans (reviewed quarterly) with clear sales and growth objectives. • Identify growth opportunities based on marketing initiatives, product innovation, economic trends, and seasonality. • Own and manage the full relationship with assigned key accounts. • Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor to retail partners. • Lead business reviews, client meetings, and executive presentations. • Forecast sales performance and provide regular reporting to the Head of Residential Sales. • Manage marketing spend to maximize ROI and drive sell-through. • Oversee product detail pages across e-commerce channels to ensure accuracy and strong performance. • Partner with retailers to secure optimal shelf positioning and effective merchandising in brick-and-mortar locations. • Represent Ooma at trade shows and industry events. • Travel regularly to meet with key accounts and strengthen face-to-face partnerships.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in retail, distribution, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or consumer electronics.
  • Proven success managing products across brick-and-mortar retail, e-commerce, or distribution channels.
  • Experience in telecommunications, networking, or VoIP technology preferred.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and position products as strategic assets.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable growth plans.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, written, and listening communication skills. Highly organized and results-driven, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and able to solve problems independently.
  • Natural leadership presence with a positive, collaborative mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

The Neurology Account Specialist (NAS) will be responsible for meeting and/or exceeding sales goals in an assigned territory by developing, implementing, and executing an integrated territory business plan encompassing key customer targets. The incumbent will demonstrate subject matter expertise concerning scientific and clinical information for ALS and take a customer-focused approach to engage customers in clinically relevant discussion utilizing approved materials. The NAS will effectively analyze sales data to identify opportunities for business growth or areas of concern within the assigned territory. The incumbent will be responsible for territory business planning and execution of key company initiatives. Qualifications - BA/BS Degree. - Minimum of 5 years pharmaceutical sales experience, including at least 2 years experience in Neurology, and/or CNS. - Sound understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and regulations/guidelines pertaining to pharmaceutical sales. - Experience with new product launches. - Highly self-directed, committed to excellence, possess an entrepreneurial spirit. - Strong selling skills with track record of sales success particularly with new product launches. - Polished, professional image coupled with outstanding ability to engage others and build strong business relationships. - Strong oral/written communication and presentation skills. - Proficiency in MS Office; proficiency in Veeva is a plus. - Must be able to travel up to 30%, including frequent overnight stays. Additional Information The base salary range for this full-time, field-based position is $160,000-$180,000. Individual pay is determined by several factors, which include but are not limited to: job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The range does not include the comprehensive benefits, vehicle allowance, bonus, long-term incentive, or any additional compensation that may be associated with this role.
