Work Schedule Standard (Mon-Fri) Environmental Conditions Office Job Description Leads cross-functional proposal processes, stakeholders, and timelines to ensure contract proposals and/or modifications are completed accurately throughout the project lifecycle.   This is a great opportunity for individuals that have experience from study placements or those looking to move into a commercial based environment. You'll be joining a supportive team working closely with experienced professionals and full training will be provided. Essential Functions and Other Job Information: - Leads the proposal bid and budget negotiation process, synthesizing detailed client requirements with internal data in collaboration with key internal stakeholders to determine appropriate resource and budget allocations for project plans and study strategies. - Reviews request for proposal (RFP) information to ensure it has adequate information for budget preparation. - Leads proposal bidding strategy calls to discuss customer requirements and budget strategy development and/or modifications. - Works within bidding system to ensure accurate bidding and timely data mapping in client grid templates. - Finalizes documents for distribution to the customer and internal departments, performing quality control edits to ensure accuracy, proper data formatting, and compliance with contract requirements. - Ensures proposals concisely and accurately reflect strategy discussions, meet client needs, offer consistent messaging, include relevant differentiators, and convey value proposition and critical success factors.   Education and Experience:  Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (or equivalent working experience) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:    - Strong organizational and project administration skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under different pressures with competing priorities - Ability to juggle multiple tasks while still delivering high quality results - Strong communication skills in order to translate requirements for senior team members - Strong analytical skills as you'll be reviewing and manipulating complex data sets - High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentation of data - Confidence to handle sensitive information and make sound recommendations - Familiarity with AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Copilot) and an interest in how they can improve productivity Management Role: No management responsibility.   Working Conditions and Environment:  - Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment.  - Frequently drives to site locations and frequently travels both domestic and international.   Physical Requirements: - Frequently stationary for 6-8 hours per day. - Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists. - Frequent mobility required. - Occasional crouching, stooping, bending and twisting of upper body and neck. - Light to moderate lifting and carrying (or otherwise moves) objects including luggage and laptop computer with a maximum lift of 15-20 lbs. - Ability to access and use a variety of computer software developed both in-house and off-the-shelf. - Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. - Frequently interacts with others to obtain or relate information to diverse groups. - Works independently with little guidance or reliance on oral or written instructions and plans work schedules to meet goals. Requires multiple periods of intense concentration. - Performs a wide range of variable tasks as dictated by variable demands and changing conditions with little predictability as to the occurrence.
