Role Summary The Business Process Engineer will play a key role in driving operational excellence and automation across Fanatics’ New Card Factory (NCF) platform. This role focuses on optimizing and automating cross-functional business processes that span systems such as Adobe Fusion, Oracle Fusion, and custom-built software. You’ll collaborate with engineering, operations, and product management teams to identify inefficiencies, streamline workflows, and design scalable automation solutions that reduce manual effort, improve data accuracy, and accelerate card innovation. Key Responsibilities - Analyze existing NCF business processes — from product setup through production and fulfillment — to identify improvement and automation opportunities. - Design and implement scalable, maintainable process automations using iPaaS tools such as Adobe Fusion, Power Automate, Zapier, Make.com, Boomi, n8n, tray.io. - Partner with stakeholders across Operations, Product Development, Engineering, and QA to document and improve business workflows. - Develop, test, and deploy integrations that connect internal systems with enterprise systems like Oracle Fusion and Adobe AEM. - Ensure automation reliability through monitoring, testing, and continuous improvement. - Maintain comprehensive documentation of business process designs, automation logic, and integration interfaces. - Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure automations align with existing architecture, data integrity, and security standards. - Support change management and training initiatives to help business teams adopt new processes and tools. - Stay current on emerging automation and integration technologies and proactively recommend improvements. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - 3+ years of experience in process design, automation, or business systems analysis. - Proven experience with one or more iPaaS platforms (e.g., Adobe Fusion, Power Automate, Zapier, Make, Boomi, n8n, tray.io). - Strong understanding of business process mapping, workflow design, and data flow between systems. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and operational teams. Preferred: - Experience working with the Adobe ecosystem (Fusion, Adobe AEM, Workfront). - Familiarity with REST APIs, webhooks, and low-code integration design. - Basic understanding of scripting or programming (e.g., JavaScript, Python). - Experience supporting digital manufacturing or creative operations workflows. - Experience using AI tools Key Attributes - Systems thinker who enjoys optimizing complex workflows. - Process- and detail-oriented with strong analytical capabilities. - Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. - Passionate about automation, simplification, and continuous improvement. Travel to job sites may be required for site observations, client meetings, factory witness tests, etc. Job Duties: - Independently drive physical designs for electrical substations throughout design and construction phases (both new construction and upgrades/retrofits). - Design high and medium voltage electrical distribution for large scale data center campuses. - Oversee the production of one-line diagrams, conceptual designs, plan-section drawings, foundation, grounding, specifications, and any additional drawings needed to complete a comprehensive set of construction documents to build substations of varying sizes. - Work amongst a cross-discipline design team, owners, and contractors to develop drawings and specifications. - Coordinate with external vendors, internal design teams and manufacturers. - Major equipment selection and scheduling. - Lead QA/QC process and sign off on engineering documents. - Perform substation testing and commissioning as needed. - Develop proposals (scope of work, estimate, etc.). Minimum Qualifications: - 2+ years of Professional Substation Engineering design experience designing high/medium voltage power distribution, physical design, transmission line design, etc. - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. - Engineering in Training (EIT) certification preferred. Valid Electrical Professional Engineer (PE) license a plus. - Experience working independently, managing priorities and providing mentorship to junior staff. - Strong understanding of electrical codes. - Ability to think strategically and demonstrate flexibility in order to achieve long-range objectives. - Self-motivated, comfortable with ambiguity and motivated to work as a team and lead others. - Top-notch organization, attention to detail combined with excellent written and oral communication skills. - Proficiency with MS Office, AutoCAD, BlueBeam, BIM, and Revit.
