Purchasing Specialist
ScalableOS
This is a remote position. SUMMARY The Purchasing Specialist supports day‑to‑day procurement and order management activities, ensuring timely processing of orders and coordination with internal stakeholders. The role is fast‑paced and process‑driven, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, communication, and follow‑through. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES - Process and manage purchase orders throughout the day - Track order status, delivery timelines, and receipt of goods - Coordinate with engagement managers, sales, and project managers on order timing and availability - Communicate with distributors and vendors regarding pricing, availability, and fulfillment - Follow documented procurement SOPs while handling occasional exceptions - Support periodic purchasing‑related projects and process updates QUALIFICATIONS - Minimum of 3 years of experience working as Purchasing Specialist. - ConnectWise CPQ (strong plus) - Experience with distributors such as Ingram Micro - MSP environment experience is a plus but not required - Basic Excel knowledge preferred (no advanced formulas required) Required Skills & Competencies - Strong communication skills - Ability to follow documented processes and SOPs - Critical thinking and judgment for procurement substitutions or exceptions - Ability to work independently after initial ramp‑up - Comfortable working in a high‑volume, fast‑moving environment JOB REQUIREMENTS - Should be willing to accept a long-term work-from-home arrangement. - Should be amenable to a permanent night shift schedule.
