Senior Platform Engineer
NVIDIA
• Spearhead automation engineering initiatives to streamline and optimize deployment workflows. • Manage, configure, deploy, and provision Kubernetes clusters at scale. • Lead the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines, ensuring a robust, automated, and efficient delivery process. • Develop and implement security tooling to safeguard our cloud infrastructure and applications against threats. • Architect solutions to improve the developer experience and streamline application delivery through GitOps. • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules and scripts to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources. • Decouple applications from infrastructure and abstract configuration to simplify microservice development. • Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration across all major cloud service providers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role with a strong focus on cloud engineering and Kubernetes operations at scale.
- Proficient in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Shell scripting).
- Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and methodologies with 5+ years working with tooling such as Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.
- Secrets management tools such as Hashicorp Vault, AWS SSM, etc.
- Familiarity with major cloud platforms and services (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI).
- Strong understanding of container orchestration, microservices architecture, and CI/CD principles.
- Demonstrable experience with GitOps methodologies and poll based configuration and deployment patterns.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to innovate and think creatively.
