• Own and grow a defined territory, driving new business development and expanding existing enterprise relationships. • Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, partner engagement, and strategic account planning. • Lead complex, full-cycle sales efforts from initial engagement through close, consistently achieving or exceeding revenue targets. • Serve as a trusted cybersecurity advisor for clients and prospects, providing strategic guidance across key areas such as: Endpoint Security, Network Security, Security Operations, Vulnerability Management, SIEM, Incident Response, Security Assessments & Testing, Threat Intelligence. • Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas and pipeline metrics while maintaining accurate Salesforce CRM data. • Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demos, both virtually and in person. • Collaborate with internal technical teams to develop solutions tailored to client needs. • Negotiate pricing and contract terms in accordance with company standards. • Develop long-term client relationships to ensure renewals, upsells, and overall customer satisfaction. • Maintain a strong understanding of CyberOne’s solutions portfolio and vendor ecosystem. • Actively contribute to team goals, sales strategy discussions, and market expansion initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in cybersecurity, IT services, or a VAR environment.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas in a territory-based role.
- Demonstrated ability to close complex deals involving executive-level stakeholders and enterprise sales cycles.
- Experience developing new business through prospecting and building relationships across multiple levels within an organization.
- Established network of clients and vendors within the Houston, TX area.
- Experience selling to public sector clients including State, Local, and Education (SLED: K–12/ISDs and Higher Ed).
- Relevant sales certifications from cybersecurity vendors (e.g., Palo Alto, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, etc.).
- Understanding of MDR (Managed Detection and Response), Risk & Compliance services, and Professional Services.
- Strong knowledge of CRM platforms (Salesforce.com preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite, including Teams, Excel, Outlook, and OneDrive.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proposal writing and solution positioning.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with a collaborative mindset.
- High degree of organization, time management, and follow-through.
- Ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid environment and travel locally as needed.
