Junior Copywriter Location: Summit, NJ or New York, NYUnited States Job Description: Boll & Branch is looking for a Junior Copywriter: a curious, motivated writer ready to roll up their sleeves and contribute across a wide range of creative projects and channels. This role is an entry point into a fast-moving, collaborative Creative Team where great writing and the results it drives are taken seriously. The ideal candidate learns quickly, takes direction well, and brings genuine enthusiasm for the craft and the brand. Day to day, you'll support omnichannel writing needs, from seasonal campaigns and promotional emails to paid media, organic social, and daily copy tasks, while building fluency in our brand voice and deepening your skills as a writer. You'll work closely with the Sr. Copy Manager and collaborate across the broader Creative Team, touching a variety of projects and creative disciplines. Comfort working alongside AI tools is essential; we're a team that embraces emerging technology as part of the creative process. Key Responsibilities Omnichannel Writing Support - Write and edit copy across a variety of channels and formats, including email, paid media, organic social, web, CRM, and promotional campaigns. - Support seasonal campaign execution, from brief to final delivery, contributing clear, on-brand copy that serves both creative and business goals. - Apply edits and revisions as directed, maintaining accuracy and consistency across all assets. - Maintain copy files as the team evolves and scales. Cross-Functional Collaboration - Attend kickoffs, creative reviews, and copy meetings for assigned projects. - Work alongside designers, brand, and marketing partners to bring creative concepts to life with the right words. - Stay nimble and responsive when priorities shift or last-minute needs arise, a common occurrence in a fast-paced retail environment. Craft & Development - Learn and adhere to the Boll & Branch brand voice and copy standards across all writing assignments. - Receive and apply feedback from senior writers, treating each revision as an opportunity to grow. - Maintain high standards for writing and self-editing, bringing a thoughtful eye to every assignment, big or small. - Actively engage with AI tools as part of the writing and ideation process, learning how to use them effectively while maintaining brand voice and creative quality. - Approach the work with a positive, can-do attitude, especially under pressure. Qualifications - 0-2 years of experience in copywriting, content writing, or a related field. - Bachelor's degree in creative writing, marketing, english or similar field. - Strong foundational writing skills with a sharp eye for detail and accuracy. - Ability to write across formats and adapt tone for different channels and audiences. - Comfortable taking direction and incorporating feedback constructively. - Organized and reliable, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment. - Curiosity about and comfort with AI writing tools; willingness to experiment and learn - A positive attitude and collaborative spirit: you're a team player who's excited to pitch in wherever needed. - Experience or genuine interest in luxury, home, or lifestyle brands is a plus. - Portfolio or writing samples that demonstrate clear, compelling communication across formats. The primary location for this role will be Summit, NJ or New York, NY. We believe our business and our culture are strongest when we work together in person. We also know that it's helpful to have flexibility to work remotely. Currently we are operating under a hybrid model whereby all teams work in the office a minimum of two days per week (Tuesdays/Thursdays) and may be provided flexibility to work from home on other days. There may be times when you're asked to work in other locations because it's in the best interest of our business or your team. The annual base salary range for this role is $55,000 to $85,000 (new hires are typically brought into the organization between the minimum to midpoint of the salary range posted depending on qualifications, internal equity, and the budgeted amount for the role). It is important to note that our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size, industry, and the market and are one part of the total rewards that we provide. Individual pay rate decisions are based on several factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, scope of the role, and internal peer benchmarking. In addition to your base compensation, you may be eligible to be part of the Company's annual bonus program with a non-binding Company and individual performance-based target bonus. This role is not eligible for relocation assistance. Additionally, Boll & Branch will not commence an immigration case or "sponsor" an individual for this position (for example, H-1B or other employment-based immigration). The above is a comprehensive, but not exhaustive, description of requirements and expectations that may evolve over time based on business needs. You must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. What We Offer: - Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life/AD&D insurance - Commuter Benefits, HSA/FSA, STD/LTD, and Employee Assistance Program - Family-Planning Services, Gender-affirming healthcare, and Health Advocacy Program - Fitness Reimbursement Program, 401(k), Paid Time Off, and an Employee Discount About Boll & Branch: At Boll & Branch, we don't make bedding like everyone else. We make it better. In 2014, our founders, Scott and Missy Tannen, challenged every conventional standard in the textile industry, creating a new supply chain that prioritized thread quality, not thread count. By investing exclusively in 100% organic raw materials from the start, we became the first bedding company ever to be Fair Trade Certified. Today, we keep five commitments at the heart of everything we do. We are: - Cultivators of the Highest Quality Threads - Pioneers in 100% Organic Cotton - Free from Toxins at Every Step - 100% Traceable from Farm to Finish - Committed to Fair and Ethical Treatment for All Boll & Branch has over 200 employees, and we are headquartered in Summit, NJ, with a second office in New York, NY and a dedicated Photo Studio in New Providence, NJ. In 2019, to propel our growth, we raised $100M from L Catterton, a leading consumer goods private equity fund. We are also progressively expanding our retail and wholesale footprint. While the heart of our business lies in the direct-to-consumer online model, we also have several retail stores around the country as well as partnerships with Bloomingdales and Nordstrom.

Copywriter (Post-Purchase & OTO Specialist) We aren’t looking for a generalist or a "content creator." We are hiring 1–2 elite direct-response copywriters dedicated exclusively to the post-purchase funnel. Your sole mission is to optimize the sequence that happens after the initial transaction to maximize Lifetime Value (LTV) and Revenue Per Customer (RPC). The Role You will own the entire post-checkout experience. This includes crafting high-converting One-Time Offers (OTOs), strategic downsell pages, order bumps, and subscription upsell flows. If you don't find "take rates" and "funnel momentum" exciting, this isn't the role for you. Required Experience - The Track Record: 3+ years specifically writing post-purchase/OTO copy (general DTC brand storytelling doesn't count here). - The Tech Stack: Hands-on experience building/optimizing flows within Checkout Champ, ClickFunnels, or ThriveCart. - Long-Form Mastery: Proven ability to write 2,000+ word sales pages and full-length VSL scripts (not just catchy headlines). - Niche Expertise: Direct experience in the Health, Wellness, or Supplement verticals. - Data-Backed Portfolio: You must be able to show a portfolio that includes conversion data (take rates, RPC, or AOV lift). Preferred Qualifications - Compliance Savvy: Deep understanding of FTC/FDA supplement claim guidelines and experience working alongside legal/compliance teams. - Subscription Architecture: Experience writing compliant recurring billing disclosures that convert without being "sneaky." - High-Volume Background: Experience writing for brands scaling at $5M+ per month in DTC volume. - Funnel Logic: A deep understanding of how to maintain "buying momentum" across a multi-step OTO stack. How to Apply We value results over resumes. To be considered, please send your portfolio featuring at least two OTO or VSL samples. Note: Please include specific conversion data where available. We will not review applications that do not include relevant work samples.
