• Lead complex pre-sales engagements, including discovery, architecture design, solution positioning, and technical validation. • Act as a trusted advisor to IT practitioners, engineers, architects, and senior leaders by translating business objectives into secure, resilient, and scalable architectures. • Deliver compelling technical demonstrations and decision-maker presentations that clearly articulate business value, cyber risk reduction, and operational outcomes. • Design and manage proofs-of-concept (POCs) to technical closure, aligned to customer success criteria and operational realities. • Collaborate with customers and partners to define architectural strategies supporting data resilience, ransomware recovery, compliance, and hybrid-cloud adoption. • Create tailored proposals and contribute to enterprise-scale RFP and RFx responses. • Maintain strong awareness of industry trends, emerging threats, and competitive positioning to effectively represent Veeam in business discussions. • Partner closely with sales, product management, engineering, and ecosystem partners to influence solution architecture and product direction.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in pre-sales systems engineering, solutions architecture, or similar technical leadership roles, with a strong focus on large enterprise environments.
  • Proven success leading complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles, including discovery, solution design, POCs, and executive-level engagements.
  • Strong technical background across data resilience, infrastructure platforms, virtualization, cloud services, networking, and security.
  • Working knowledge of data security, privacy, and governance, including regulatory and compliance considerations relevant to enterprise customers.
  • Foundational understanding of AI, machine learning, and large language models (LLMs), with the ability to articulate how trusted, resilient data underpins AI initiatives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven public presentation experience delivering compelling messages to executives, senior IT leadership, and large technical or industry audiences.
  • Self-motivated, high-energy technologist who can learn quickly, adapt, and operate effectively in fast-moving enterprise environments.

Role Description The Senior Financial Analyst will partner with Managed Care Contracting and is responsible for providing advanced analytics to meet the strategic financial goals in Salinas Valley Health’s payor contracts. This position interacts with internal and external parties regarding communication/questions about rates and terms, rate structure and development, and reconciliation of contract provisions and disputes. - Evaluate and develop hospital, physician, and ambulatory rate proposals. - Familiar with various reimbursement methodologies. - Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to analyze large data sets. - Develop, maintain, and provide regular reporting on financial performance of the contracts. - Support revenue integrity efforts and contract department performance and accountability review. - Develop “what if” modeling related to expected revenues associated with contract negotiations. - Assess and evaluate counter proposals from Health Plans and the impact to hospital financials. - Function as the Master System User for the Axiom financial system. - Manage updates, write high-level reports, and coordinate system development/fixes. - Solid knowledge base in cost accounting and ability to use the Salinas Valley Health cost accounting system (Strata). - Assemble and summarize data; prepare reports; make presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations. - Develop and maintain financial reporting: Daily Census & Other Key Indicator Reporting, Financial Metrics and Reporting, Account Receivable Reporting Enhancement, Net Revenue Improvement Tools, Physicians Report Cards, Design of various Decision Support Analytics, and Labor Reports. - Responsible for extensive evaluations, reconciliations, and interfacing of various financial and clinical systems including Workday, API Business Analytics, Navigator, and the Axiom Financial System. - Improve financial and operational status by analyzing results and variances; identifying trends; recommending actions. - Develop and design various budgeting management tools. - Prepare and support the development of the annual operating and capital budget. - Create data extracts from feeder systems using high-level critical thinking skills. - Assist in the maintenance of the Strata cost accounting system. - Develop reports and/or extracts data from the Strata system for use in analysis. - Prepare and develop profitability reports based on Cost Accounting tools. - Prepare and develop tools for auditing vendor contracts and reporting on vendor spending/performance. - Perform other duties as assigned to enhance the overall efficiency of the Hospital’s record processing and keeping functions. - Demonstrate respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors, and fellow employees. - Promote effective working relations and work effectively as part of a department/unit team. Qualifications - A Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related major required.
