Business Systems Analyst
ISC2 - International Information System Security Certification Consortium
• Contribute to the analysis, documentation, and refinement of business requirements for high-impact, complex initiatives. • Serve as a liaison between the Business, Architecture, Development and Testing teams throughout the project life cycle. • Identify, assess, and document business requirements, recommending business priorities, and advising business on options, risks, and costs. • Translate business needs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and other functional documentation. • Collaborate with solution architects and development teams to ensure business needs are reflected in technical designs. • Work closely with Agile teams and business stakeholders to ensure all scenarios are properly tested, defects are resolved, and the delivered solution meets business expectations and quality standards. • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but will consider a high school diploma with 5+ years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
- At least three (3) years of hands-on experience in business analysis, preferably in large-scale or enterprise environments.
- Proven experience in Agile environments and working within cross-functional teams.
- Strong knowledge of both business operations and IT systems, with an ability to translate between the two domains.
- Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of Waterfall is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office tools like MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
- Good experience and knowledge of process flow charting tools, such as LucidChart.
- Prior knowledge/hands on experience using JIRA and Confluence, preferred.
- Prior experience with Salesforce Platform is preferred.
