Workday Payroll Implementation Analyst Location: Boston, MA (Remote/On-site as applicable) Industry: Healthcare Seeking a Workday Payroll Implementation Analyst with strong end-to-end implementation experience to support key Payroll initiatives. This is a hands-on, functional role focused on supporting the Workday Payroll system from design through go-live and post-implementation support. In this role, you will partner closely with business stakeholders and payroll leadership to configure, test, and continuously improve the Workday Payroll platform. What You’ll Do - Lead full-cycle implementations of the Workday Payroll system - Configure payroll elements including earnings, deductions, taxes, and time tracking rules - Serve as a functional payroll expert, ensuring compliance with wage and hour laws, tax regulations, and overtime requirements - Own testing activities including test script development, UAT execution, and defect resolution - Translate business requirements into functional designs and system configurations - Manage system changes and enhancements from intake through deployment - Partner closely with the Payroll Lead to deliver scalable, compliant solutions - Support reporting, documentation, and end-user training initiatives Required Skills & Experience - Workday Payroll experience, with exposure to Time Tracking and/or UKG Dimensions - Proven full-cycle implementation experience - Strong knowledge of payroll compliance, including taxes, wage & hour, and overtime - Hands-on experience with UAT, test scripts, and defect resolution - Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across stakeholders Qualifications - 4+ years of Workday Payroll or Time & Attendance implementation experience - Demonstrated ability to lead end-to-end payroll implementations - Strong functional expertise beyond technical configuration - Experience working directly with business and Payroll stakeholders - Healthcare or similarly regulated industry experience preferred Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Boston, MA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55.00 - $65.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
