Principal Product Operations Manager

• Own and evolve the product operations strategy and roadmap, aligning operational investments with product and business priorities • Own and continuously improve the end-to-end product delivery process, with accountability for delivery predictability, quality, and cycle time across teams • Design and implement scalable operating models, intake frameworks, and prioritization processes that support a multi-team product organization • Identify systemic inefficiencies and drive cross-functional initiatives to improve operational performance at the organizational level • Serve as the primary bridge between customer-facing teams and product/engineering, leading the translation of complex business needs and customer feedback into clear, structured, and prioritized product requirements • Lead discovery sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews to surface both functional and non-functional requirements • Define and enforce standards for requirements quality, acceptance criteria, and success metrics across teams • Ensure alignment between customer needs, product strategy, and delivery execution • Own visibility into product delivery health, proactively identifying risks, dependencies, and trade-offs across teams • Drive accountability for delivery outcomes, including velocity, quality, predictability, and alignment to product and business goals • Lead cross-team coordination for high-impact and ambiguous initiatives, ensuring alignment and successful execution • Partner with product leadership to translate operational insights into roadmap and prioritization decisions • Partner closely with engineering and architecture teams to influence technical decisions, surfacing trade-offs, dependencies, and scalability considerations • Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment across system design, API integrations, and data infrastructure • Review and validate technical approaches and documentation, ensuring alignment with product requirements and long-term scalability • Define and own product operations metrics, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to measure delivery performance and product outcomes • Use data to identify trends, diagnose systemic issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across teams • Establish and scale operational playbooks, governance models, and escalation frameworks • Ensure alignment between delivery execution and customer experience, product performance, and business impact • Champion and evolve agile best practices across a multi-team product organization, driving consistency, maturity, and continuous improvement • Coach teams on effective planning, backlog management, and execution strategies to improve throughput and delivery quality • Lead initiatives to reduce cycle time, improve predictability, and minimize defects across teams
Job Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in product operations, technical program management, or related roles within a technology-driven product organization
- Proven track record of owning and scaling product operations processes across multiple teams or product areas
- Deep experience in e-commerce and ad tech environments
- Strong technical fluency — comfortable influencing discussions involving APIs, data models, system design, and platform architecture
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex, ambiguous problems into structured frameworks and scalable solutions
- Expertise in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and associated tooling (Jira, Confluence, Linear, etc.)
- Strong analytical and systems-thinking mindset, with experience defining and using metrics to drive decision-making
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without authority at all levels of the organization.

In the afternoon, you shift to a collaborative leadership role. You meet with global publishing partners and internal stakeholders, using your deep industry experience to guide decision-making. You translate complex platform needs into actionable plans, ensuring that every stakeholder is aligned and that our technical roadmap is executed with precision. To Succeed in This Role, You’ll Need: - Exceptional Technical Gravitas: You must be highly technical, capable of writing specs that go directly to engineering and understanding platform architecture at a deep level. - Proven Industry Experience: You have run multiple cycles within the AAA or Indie gaming industry and have a proven track record of managing and scaling live service content cycles. - Product Instinct & Design Taste: Beyond following a roadmap, you have the market insight to decide what competitive features we need to build next to stay ahead of the curve. - Stakeholder Management: The ability to navigate and guide demanding stakeholders across engineering, analytics, and leadership. - Operational Excellence: Experience building structures, rhythms, and technical tools from scratch in a fast-paced environment.
