Operating independently, each brand serves its own clients with purposeful services and solutions. Each brand designs, creates and manages their client’s most important events and experiential campaigns. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR The Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) is a senior finance leader responsible for driving the organization’s financial planning, forecasting, performance management, and strategic analysis. This role partners closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to provide forward-looking insights, support data-driven decision-making, and ensure alignment between financial plans and business objectives. The Director of FP&A serves as the connective tissue between strategy and execution- translating complex financial data into clear narratives, actionable recommendations, and measurable outcomes. While this role collaborates closely with accounting and controllership, the primary focus is on planning, analysis, business partnership, and performance optimization rather than day-to-day accounting operations. YOU SHOULD HAVE - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field - 8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related roles, including prior people management experience - Deep expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis - Strong understanding of financial statements and key business drivers - Proven ability to partner with senior leadership and influence decision-making - Experience supporting long-range planning and strategic initiatives - Advanced analytical, communication, and presentation skills ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES - Lead the development and management of annual budgets and multi-year financial plans - Oversee rolling forecasts, reforecasts, and scenario modeling to reflect changing business conditions - Ensure alignment between financial plans, strategic priorities, and operational goals - Monitor and analyze key financial and operational metrics, including revenue, margins, operating expenses, and unit economics - Lead variance analysis versus budget, forecast, and prior periods, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities - Partner with department leaders across operations, marketing, HR, IT, and other functions to evaluate budget requests, ROI, and resource allocation - Provide financial guidance on investments, new initiatives, pricing, and growth opportunities - Translate financial results into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership and executive audiences - Support strategic planning, goal-setting, and long-term growth initiatives in collaboration with executive management - Prepare executive-level presentations and materials for leadership reviews, board meetings, and strategic discussions - Lead, mentor, and develop FP&A team members, fostering strong analytical and business-partnering capabilities - Collaborate closely with accounting and finance leadership to ensure consistency between actuals, forecasts, and plans - Ensure forecasting assumptions and financial models are well-documented, transparent, and scalable - Continuously improve planning processes, financial models, and analytical frameworks to increase efficiency and insight SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Yes COMPETENCIES - Develop and innovate continuously and implement processes, methods, best practices and / or systems for clients or within the team - Operates and make sensible decisions with fiscal responsibility in mind - Accountable for the Business Unit's structure, vision and financial health - Applies advanced knowledge and expertise at the Business Unit and - Agency level - Change driver for innovation in Client and Team solutions and Business Unit development - Build and align capabilities, resources and stakeholders and focus on managing and improving performance - Leads creative problem solving and articulates thoughts clearly to the team and clients proactively - Ensures employees long term development WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT IN RETURN - Full time position - Opportunities for growth and development - Health & Dental Insurance (choice of plans) - 100% Employer paid short-term disability and life insurance - Opportunity to elect additional life insurance and LTD insurance at employee expense - Paid parental leave - Opportunity to contribute pre-tax dollars to flexible spending accounts - 401(K) with employer match - Flexibility in work schedules - Generous time off HOW WE’LL TAKE CARE OF YOU Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting salary for this role is between $130,00 and $165,000. Our salary ranges are based on third-party national average market compensation analysis. The actual salary is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands.
