The Opportunity This role will be responsible for the overall planning, directing, and coordination of project activities and resources for our Public Safety clients, alongside leading the Project Management team. This role may involve the implementation of a combination of software, hardware, and services within the organization. This role is responsible for the successful on-time completion of projects and for managing interactions between different internal departments, as well as clients and vendors. The work performed in this role will directly impact the productivity and effectiveness of the project team and resulting in customer satisfaction. As such, this role is responsible for the strategic planning, performance management, decision-making, and driving team motivation and accountability. Job Duties: - Guides the team to achieve organizational goals by setting a clear vision, fostering a positive culture, and mentoring employees to reach their full potential. - Initiates, plans, executes, controls, and closes projects. - Assembles the project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing the schedule to ensure the timely completion of the project. - Manages project scope, including project deliverables, timelines, client responsibilities, and expectations. - Forecasts, tracks, and manages projects toward the achievement of the progress and revenue targets. - Uses requirement-gathering techniques to record detailed customer requirements, enhancements, or feature requests in order to establish project deliverables. - Creates and maintains detailed work plans and documentation for project implementation. - Communicates and reviews work assignments with the team. - Manages day-to-day project activities. - Establishes timelines for each phase of implementation (e.g. kickoff, BPR, configuration, conversion, system review, training and go live). - Implements the approved actions and workarounds required to mitigate project risk events in order to minimize the impact of the risks on the project. - Consistently exercises effective communication and follow through and acts as the client’s single point of contact during the project implementation. - Obtains sign-off on the completion of major project milestones. - Prepares regular status reports and facilitates status meetings with CentralSquare team and customers. - Encourages creation of lessons learned document during the execution of project work. - Follows up with team members to proactively avoid repeat problems for future implementations. - Conducts customer visits during project implementation. - Creates weekly financial milestones, monthly forecasting for revenue recognition, and end-of-month project percent complete. - Leads the development and implementation of standard project management processes and best practices. - Consistently demonstrates accurate forecasts of revenue for projects. - Works independently and in a team environment and shares knowledge with others. - Displays good communication skills with a customer service focus. - Comfortably and effectively present to audiences of various sizes. - Performs all other duties as assigned.

About the Role The Project Manager oversees client initiatives by managing scope, schedules, resources, and budgets. They ensure timely and high-quality delivery through coordination with internal teams and external vendors. They lead planning, meetings, risk management, and scope changes, acting as the main point of accountability throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities - Assisting the sales process for new and ongoing projects by defining, confirming, and documenting project scope and the project schedule. - Working with internal and external vendors to gather project estimates. - Coordinating with stakeholders to define project expectations, verifying scope, gathering information. Leading planning meetings, developing schedules and risk plans, and supporting resource identification. - Managing and recording detailed project requirements, constraints, and assumptions with stakeholders in order to establish the project deliverables. Using requirement-gathering techniques (e.g., planning sessions, brainstorming, focus groups) and the project charter. - Completing project and process evaluation, scorecard review, internal/external debrief meetings, and documentation, and providing input to development of ongoing refresh schedule. - Enhancing team performance through leadership, mentoring, training, and motivation to foster collaboration, improve efficiency, and elevate morale. - Executing assembly procedures, monitors shipping or mailing to ensure/confirm delivery. Managing print projects, including proof review/approval, and attending press checks for a wide range of print work. - Understanding and verifying the financial scope of the project. Providing support and financial data for client lead/sales team to create proposals and support documentation. - Managing project scope changes using approved methods. Escalating and facilitating scope change conversations with client leads/sales team/account executives and working with them to address scope changes with clients. - Building the business with existing clients by listening, identifying possible future needs. Pursuing new or expanded work with them. Sharing information with the project lead but also taking a larger role in defining and developing the offer. Requirements - Able to consult and ask appropriate questions to guide clients and colleagues to meet their goals and objectives. Have a solid foundation in guiding and assisting teams and individuals. Have external client/vendor facing consulting experience. - Display knowledge of benefits compensation, retirement plans, health plans, as well as equity and other HR rewards programs. - Have ability to translate business requirements into functional technical specifications. - Be detail-oriented and well-organized individual for a position.
